Hi all, In the wake initially of Mamdani’s win a few months ago, and now after the DSA sweep in NYC I’ve noticed coverage in the media (including the Free Press) that not only points out wealthy elites are the driving factor but also that usually working class voters go for moderate candidates. I’d like to posit that this has always been true of socialism as we understand stand it (separate from labor unions). For reference I’d suggest 3 books: “Heaven on Earth: The Rise and Fall of Socialism”

A question came up during our Supper Club, "What are you watching?"
