I live outside Cheyenne WY. There are now 3 large data center campuses under construction near my home. There are several more up and running or under construction elsewhere around Cheyenne.
Wyoming has been, and still is, very dependant on the extraction industry. Coal, oil, natural gas, etc. Most in the state want economic diversification. Many are against data centers.
