I discovered one such disturbing T chart my 7th grader had been instructed to make while schooling at home during the lockdowns. Both my white son (labeled as oppressor) and his dark skin friend (labeled as oppressed) were horrified. After speaking with the teacher, who was convinced that he was ‘ending racism’ with this assignment, we pulled our son from his class so he could actually learn some history rather than Marxist propaganda. And my daughter will not be attending that middle school in the future. This was my introduction to Critical Race Theory.
