The fact that this ridiculous idea of reparations is even entertained is complete insanity. There is no way on God's green earth that it could be implemented fairly. It would result in a downward spiral of greed, resentment and suffering and destroy the country.

Then again, I think that is the goal of those that are behind it.

Disagree with your last sentence, Bill. Are the leftists proposing this lunatics? Probably. But its being thrown out there to test the reaction. Their goal is to find out what you think. Not to destroy the country, at least not deliberately. ItтАЩs as if you have a car worth five grand, but you ask for twenty five. YouтАЩre sneered at and you drop it to six.

Nothing is going to happen here.

Which is why one shouldnтАЩt pay attention to Barack Obama who was for both Affirmative Action and Reparations. That man couldnтАЩt lead his people out of a manicured, well trod park path.

It doesnтАЩt stop there. An article today in the Epoch Times features a Princeton scientist and an MIT scientist demonstrating with data, not hyperbole, how global warming morphed into тАЬclimate changeтАЭ primarily as an enrichment scheme for a group of hoaxers, I would provide the link, but itтАЩs paywalled.

You can also read the article for free by turning off Javascripts in your browser. Brave can do this, I know. I'm sure others can. It works for most paywalls.

You can read the article for free in exchange for supplying an e-mail address. I read it and learned something new: that beyond a certain point, increased CO2 in the atmosphere has little additional warming effect due to saturation. I also recommend the article!
