I asked my nephew, who works for a county PD, what was the biggest crime problem. I was expecting him to say drug making and drug use. But no, he said beyond a shadow of a doubt it was child sex trafficking. He almost cried as he described the countless 11 and 12 year old children found smuggled into the country to supply the sex trade. Frankly, I was shocked. Sad indeed.
Welcome to realityтАжтАжтАж. Once you learn more youтАЩll probably figure out why socialism doesnтАЩt work. You cannot promise to give one human the products of another humanтАЩs labor unless you take it from the producing human.
Also, if the governments wants billions a year from Jeff Bezos he has to sell his stick to get it. But in order to sell there must be buyers. Every time he dumps a huge amount of stock the value of all of it falls - not only depleting Jeff BezosтАЩs wealth, but also all Amazon investors (think pension funds and 401Ks). ThatтАЩs less money for those retired teachers and firefighters to spend ensuring the local waitress has a job and gets a tip.
The 100% failure rate of socialism is because it doesnтАЩt work. Western Europe is also not socialists. They have more social programs funded through regressive VAT taxes and flat individual income taxes. They are capitalist. The social programs are not from redistribution - the citizens fund their OWN benefits. ThatтАЩs not socialismтАжтАж. And it sure as heck isnтАЩt redistribution.
One thing I think is interesting is that for lefties, being "woke" is something you have to work at 24/7, in order to keep up with endless new rules about political correctness. Hence "stay woke" as a call to action.
I've never heard anyone talk about "putting the work in" to STAY red-pilled. It's more of a "once you've seen it, you can't unsee it" kind of thing. Once you've seen behind the curtain of what really drives progressive politics (hint: amassing power, not making the world a better place), there's no un-seeing it.
I think a lot of people were inadvertently red-pilled over the last 2 years or so. Sounds like you were one of them.

I am convinced that is a significant factor in the southern border crisis.

Welcome to the light.
