Not to mention his recent, even more pointed book "The People, No!" which examines the Left's current vilification of populism, and concludes that it says absolutely nothing good about them. I haven't read it, but Matt Taibbi reviewed it and interviewed Thomas Frank at length. Frank's interview echoes many of the themes discussed here.
