The unstated issue is manpower. Watching these idiots on college campuses, I’m afraid we as a country lack the courage and moral fortitude to engage in any war.

I recall that, right after the invasion of Ukraine began, there was a poll of Americans about whether, in a similar situation, they would stand and fight or run away. A *huge* percentage of Democrats said they would run away.

If we want to remain the global voice this divide has to go. The first step is to genuinely listen to the other side, this incessant battle of foolishness is not helping.

You give that advice to the left. They're the ones who need it. They control the schools, the universities, 90% of the media, BigTech and now even most corporate boardrooms. THEY are the ones using all their power to silence, vilify, marginalize, demonize and dehumanize those of us who are not on the left.

Even if what you're saying is true, this does not help. We shouldn't need a crisis to unite, just open minds, someone has to be a bigger person.

The reason I moved from the left to the right was that it became clear who was being the bigger person. Conservatives listen, debate and discuss. Progressives march, scream, menace and tantrum. Even though I still support a number of liberal causes ideologically, in practice, Republican representatives present their views more reasonably, civilly, and with a far clearer moral compass.
