This is what we're teaching kids in these hollowed halls. Where once we taught classics and philosophy, then we taught engineering and science, and now we teach calls for violence and "decolonization". We reap what we sow.

You are correct. That's why our six kids are being classically educated and our oldest is a freshman at Thomas Aquinas College. I take every opportunity to show them the consequences of being ill advised and poorly educated, I mean indoctrinated.
I don't know if the use of the word "hollowed" was a mistake or intentional, but in reality "hollowed" is what our higher education institutes have become. I'm totally in despair seeing what has happened there. Open debate? Sharing of ideas? Understanding of nuance? Naw - our children and grandchildren must succumb to the group-think of the radicals who have infested these institutions on pain of being condemned for not toeing the line. And it is an infestation, make no mistake. To condone what is happening in Israel is beyond reprehensible.
All those idiots--the pro-Palestine protestors, the college professors, the Squad--don't understand that if they had been at the music festival or Sderot, the Hamas terrorists would've shot, stab, raped, and kidnapped them without a second thought.

"hallowed halls", BobbyBob. They might also be hollow, certainly of intellect, but ...
