Why do I think that there is going to be a HUGE wave of law suits around teens that transitioned and want to de transition or who started the process and then stopped?

Why do I think a lot of people who should eat crow when this madness ends will simply take no responsibility, ignore it or blame the victims and then just move onto the next big thing?

TheyтАЩll blame Trump and Putin. No doubt.

I've always said, that is what will change this tragic trajectory! Keep those lawsuits coming!

That poor young man. It breaks my heart. Where were the adults in his life? Where were his parents?

We are going to hear more and more of these stories. Such tragedy and so avoidable.

IтАЩve read a lot of these stories and many from parents who tried so, so hard to get these kids help and theyтАЩre faced with opposition from therapists, doctors, school, etc. The minute they turn 18 they start down the medical road. The online pull on these kids is extraordinarily strong. Read the free Substack P.I.T.T.

They are doing this before the children turn 18. Schools, counselors, therapists, and some doctors purposely keep this secret from the parents.

The evil of this is nearly incomprehensible.

I am going to add another thought to this. Whoever pushed this young man into a horrific mutilating surgery, which will have a devastating impact on the remainder of his life, is in my opinion, homophobic.

This young man may have been effeminate. So what? There is a large spectrum of the human condition. Haven't we gotten past this?

He could have lived happily as a homosexual man with an intact body.

Where is the prejudice and bigotry now? I contend it's on the Left.

One could be forgiven for hoping the surgeons who remove penises and cut off breasts of children wind up in the unsolved murder basketтАж

I can't advocate murder. You don't solve one immoral action by committing another. They should be sued out of existence and have their licenses pulled. For a start.

They should be in prison for crimes against humanity. They are evil.

Not advocating murder, just fantasizing

One hopes there will be consequences for this evil. What would be appropriate? Hmmm....maybe the surgeon performing these monstrous acts should have done to them what they are doing to these young people.

Naomi I keep wondering the same thing. I don't understand why gay men and lesbian women aren't vehemently against this movement. Can't they see this ideology is against them?

Many are very much against it. Read Feminist Current and Reduxx. There are now LGB organizations springing up, but they are denounced as hate groups, banned from Twitter and demonetized from YouTube. It's incredibly difficult for an antiwoke organization to operate, much less be heard.

SO, SO, important to start using LGB, not LGBTQXYZ. If they've done anything, the Alt-Left has proved that WORDS MATTER.

There are now alternative ways to get your message out. There is Substack, Locals, Rumble, Truth Social, Gab, GETR, Parler. Maybe more.

These are not widely read outlets. The LGBTQ++ movement is a juggernaut that eliminates opposition by branding dissenters as hatemongers. No nuance is allowed.

It's not so much the movement as the mouthpieces like HRC and GLADD. Professional agitators who live on donations. Once Marriage Equality was achieved -- probably the greatest single milestone in the struggle for Gay rights -- they needed a new bugbear to stir up division and hate and restart the ATM. Thus was born the radical Trans movement. Please send money now.

Someone mentioned Bill Maher. Ordinarily I just dismiss him as shallow, pompous douchebag. Not sure if it was the same segment, but he had pointed out also how LGBTQ+ identity was skyrocketing among Millennials and especially Gen-Z. Why? Because victimhood is the new celebrity. If you're a White Male you are regarded as an unredeemable oppressor by your peers. Identify as Gay, Trans, Gender Queer, Non-binary and suddenly you reap the benefits bestowed upon the oppressed.

Yet, inexplicably, white girls are transitioning into white men. I donтАЩt get it.

BradK (Afuera!)'s avatar

It is permissible to transition *into* a White Male as you are provided a special dispensation. Unlike *being born* as such which earns only contempt and derision for deeds a handful of your race/gender configuration may (or may not) have done a few centuries ago.

They would be more widely read and visited if more people read them and visited them and quoted them. People want to be where other people are.

I made a decision a couple of years ago that I will not lie. Evil flourishes in the lie. My contribution may be microscopically tiny but it is not non-existent. Someone must light a candle to vanquish the darkness and, maybe, over time, there will be others brave enough to light their candle too.

What's really notable, and Nellie missed, is that it's in the U.K. system, where it's EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to file and win medical malpractice suits. If this goes forward, it will be ground-breaking.
