The part of it that bothers me is that they did not tell the authorities of Martha's Vineyard that they were doing this--they just dumped people there. I agree we have problems, big problems, at the border but when the feds sent immigrants to various locations they worked with those locations to receive them and didn't just randomly dump people like they were sacks of garbage.
They only told the NGOs that they were coming. They did not tell the governors, mayor's or anyone else who would be responsible for education, medical care and so on that would end up costing these communities a lot. And they "dumped" 50 people there - into a wealthy community that surely should be able to come up with some solutions. Are the Obamas in Martha's Vinyard now? Surely they have enough space and resources to accommodate 50 migrants.
I wonder how long it takes for private fences to go up. Once that number goes from 50 to 50,000 you'll see that real fast.
Yeah it's so incredible. My home state of Az has processed millions and millions of these situations during my life and leftists think forcing them to handle 50 is "shockingly cruel."

I live in one of the border towns impacted by the illegal immigration. Shut down the International Bridge for a week around this time last year.
