But does anyone give any credit to the Cat’lics, who’ve been warning all of society and opposing theses things on principle all along?? Since the times of the Roman Empire? and whose whole modus operandi is to help the downtrodden experience more happiness and dignity in life?
(Maybe you’ve never met a really great Christian, sorry about that, so think in the ideal— the ultimate in modern times was Mother Teresa…who taught the most impoverished women how to track their cycles! How many liberals/leftists would consider empowering impoverished women in mud huts or street shacks with the knowledge to manage their fertility without drugs and foreign objects/injections. How many lives she transformed, without ever giving in to death as the answer.)
The left-wing line is that moral conservatism "lost the battle of ideas".
It did not actually lose that battle, though. It lost democratic elections. But elections do not decide what is right; elections decide what we are going to do.
We have democratically gone against moral conservatism, and the results are bad. From a "battle of ideas" perspective, this suggests that moral conservatism was correct.
They'll get to the point of killing everyone with a significant illness, then claim to have the best healthcare system in the world because the people remaining are healthy and long-lived!
Of the many loony/frightening aspects of this, the extension of the program to "mature minors" may be the worst. Canada seems to be at the forefront of progressive assaults on the family. Killing children and legally blocking the parents from intervening may be the most dystopian idea I've ever heard.
I agree with you, Canada from the mild mannered people they were have become full blown crazy. You just had to look at the behavior of the prime Minister when the truckers were protesting. I use to think that America ruled in the loony department but I have flipped over to the Canadians as full blown mad. Perhaps if Trudeau is voted out things might change
The problem seems to be that a majority of Canadians repeatedly indicate they want him, isn't it? You're trying to cure the fever by changing the thermometer reading.
Probably, but remember Stephen Harper he was the best PM ever of Canada a superb leader, very pro Israel yip Jeff that’s important. He served For 11 years and Canadians loved him.Think if you took a thermometer reading today JT would be out on his backside, Canada seems tired of him!
To be frank, Canada is still 'better' than the US in that our extremes are still not as bad. Affirmative action is way worse in the USA (though catching up here). Far right anti-abortion laws are far worse in the USA too (most of the South). Almost all crime is permissible, especially if a minority (San Fran, Seattle, etc) or you go to jail for some innane Bylaw being broken. Our most liberal and most conservative areas are still not as extreme as the USA. But we are headed there.
Canada is a vastly different place/society than the US. Impossible to reasonably compare the two. Open wide your southern border to any and all, and then we’ll see how much better y’all are
As bad as the US is, I would not want to go to Canada. I think it’s worse. I certainly don’t want my money in a bank where it can be turned off & we don’t have health passports.
Our political system is different - like most European countries, we are not a two party system. Historically that meant the parties seeking power had to have moderation. We also don't have 'primaries' that allow extremists to get on the ballot box. That is all starting to change nowadays though here too. For the record, our borders are essentially open these days (the demographic changes in Canada are truly mind boggling these last 5 years). Not sure what it takes for an illegal criminal to be deported from this country.
Trudeau singlehandedly is responsible for much of this - the traditional liberal voting base is actually pretty centrist though clearly social media has driven them pretty far left over the last decade. Trudeau is essentially a democrat socialist that got elected because of his surname. That's it. And the country suffers for it.
To this and the comment below, I would say that Trudeau is more of a symptom than the cause. Like in the States, he doesn't get away with pushing this agenda without the cover and active collaboration of elitist institutions in government bureaucracy, the media, academia, professional associations, etc...
The budgetary argument on behalf of the Canadian government is absurd. $100,000,000 is chump change to a developed country’s budget. Otherwise I have mixed feelings about this.
Not really. As evidenced by your inability to provide any cogent response other than insults.
So, I'll give you another shot.
If you used "My body, my choice" as a justification for being anti-vax (which I have no problem with) then you should have ZERO problem with people over 18 choosing to end their lives. Unless, your only complaint is gov't funding/involvement...but then you're still in another quandary, right around the corner, right?
So...are you a hypocrite or just simply too imbecilic to answer?
Are you talking about sane adults here, my body my choice? Because that’s one thing, if you are lumping mentally ill, or minors in the conversation that’s another thing.
Comp - I think you know that my body my choice in reference to vax mandates was throwing the leftists logic back at them. You’re creating a straw man with that equivalence
There's a difference between accepting the fact that some people choose suicide, and deciding not to jail or institutionalize those who try and fail, and having the Government kill people! The former can be a "my body my choice" issue, but the latter case isn't.
(Just for the record, I'm not a fan of encouraging or promoting suicide, even if a person does it on his own.)
I DO have a problem with people deciding to commit suicide!! If I could be there and give them the love and friendship and hope and most of all, reason to live that they need, I would! I pray for the desolate every day, that SOMEONE be that person for them! <3
Too bad all the anti-vax people decided to go with "My body, my choice." But....
Oh, well. Don't really care either way. Get vaccinated or not. If Covid kills you/killed people who resisted vaccines - good. If people who didn't get vaccinated lived perfectly fine - good.
Some of us actually know that it takes decades to develop safe and effective vaccines. These rushed experimental vaccines don’t work. They are however very good at weakening immunity and they randomly kill, much like Covid does. Every single person I know who has become infected with Covid is vaccinated.
Also, roughly 95% of us are at no risk from COVID, and the tiny number of people who die from it are almost always very old and sick with other conditions.
The vaccines have been conclusively linked to death by heart damage. It's no longer under scientific debate that the mRNA side effects are potentially lethal.
I work with a major pharmaceutical company with their legal compliance and can tell you that if they used the same public messaging as the mRNA shots, they'd be sued for enormous amounts and their drugs would be pulled. It doesn't matter how rare the side effects are. If you advertise a treatment as "safe" when death is a side effect, that's massively illegal.
Also, about 40% of women reported significant changes to their menstrual cycles post vaccination, with no explanation to this day. I was told "this is the most studied vaccine in history" despite not a single long term study, and to this day they don't know how it's causing menstrual problems.
The mRNA shot totally failed to prevent either infection or transmission. Before 2020 the medical community called that "vaccine failure." Post 2020, they changed the definition of "vaccine" so they can keep lying about the efficacy of the 50 billion dollar money shots.
The doctor in my family absolutely refuses to discuss any of this. She knows damn well.
" It's no longer under scientific debate that the mRNA side effects are potentially lethal." The risks were considered near minimal when it came out, and are still considered near minimal today. Because the risks for severe negative outcomes are near minimal.
As a specialist physician, let me tell you that you have ZERO idea what you are talking about. There is risk of death from the simple lidocaine you inject to do a local biopsy or stitch - albeit tiny. Death is a proven potential side effect of almost all treatments I offer. Heck - it's a proven risk with any sort of private or public transport a patient takes to see me in clinic. The risks from the vaccine are near minimal. Your poor understanding of statistics and mathematics truly boggles the mind. I guess I can only blame your piss poor modern 'liberal arts' education.
And as an ordinary non-doctor who knows how to read, I second this. If you read the potential side effects of most/many medicines or medical procedures, death is a possible side effect.
And in ordinary circumstances, any possibility of death by side effect comes with a host of laws on how you are allowed to advertise.
Calling a treatment, "safe and effective" when death is a proven side effect is massively illegal and justification for a malpractice lawsuit that you richly deserve.
Every time I think the loony left can't be topped for their insanity and deceit - 'conservatives' like you prove me wrong. Scientifically illiterate blowhards that wouldn't be able to comprehend the simplest of molecular processes somehow are brighter than people that have worked on this stuff their whole life. It's good that places like PEI heeded scientists and not 'legal compliance workers'- and avoided all death for 2 years and kept it minimized when the virus went through the population. In regards to menstrual cycles - almost ALL stresses increase the first menstrual cycle slightly. Work stresses, a cold, many vaccines, surgery, etc. A 0.71 average day increase for the first cycles post menstruation, that resolves by the next cycle is to be expected. Even before it was 'proven' almost all doctors expected some shift. Here is a general article about it from 18 months ago. Your complete lack of basic medical understanding is showing. https://muschealth.org/patients-visitors/news/2021/05/06/theres-good-biological-plausibility-that-vaccines-affect-menstrual-cycles-obgyn-says
You yourself personally, fully acknowledged the shocking and deadly stupidity of "racism is more dangerous than a virus".
Then you immediately went to:
"Scientifically illiterate blowhards that wouldn't be able to comprehend the simplest of molecular processes somehow are brighter than people that have worked on this stuff their whole life."
Now explain to me why the people who worked on these things their entire lives allowed the continent to get infected because racism is more important.
I have a liberal arts degree. I passed advanced chemistry and many, many other subjects. Your hatred just shows me how threatened you feel right now, and you ought to. The medical industry you supported committed the greatest human rights catastrophe of this generation and the inflationary effects aren't even priced in yet.
And anyway, your insults, disingenuousness, and deceit have solidified my opinion of the medical industry. I will not reply to you again.
"Now explain to me why the people who worked on these things their entire lives allowed the continent to get infected because racism is more important."
Easy. They didn't. You think the scientists at Moderna or Pfizer that developed the vaccines countenanced BLM riots? Even Fauci didn't do that. Neither did the vast majority of physicians. I'm on a large Canadian MD forum for Covid - 10s of thousands of MDs. And almost ALL were against the BLM protests on COVID grounds. However the activist types (the ones on TIKTOK or in the news, with their social warrior stance) did promote it - and of course the liberal media gave them the microphone. But no - the people that worked on it their whole lives DID NOT support the mass BLM gatherings - and almost no physicians in Canada even went to the protests. Your desire to make straw men out of educated scientists defies basic logic.
Irrrespective, you are not a very bright person. It's like playing chess with a monkey - you'll just fling crap all over the board anyways. And yes - when you do get sick one day - please stay away from the medical industry. Stick to your chiropractor or homeopathy or whatever it is you legal office guys do for healthcare.
Yes, they did. Do you need me to reference the public, signed documents declaring that the medical community wanted us to get infected? Hundreds of "experts" signed it.
You can lie all you want. The truth will win in the end.
The argument is that if you didn't get protections from the regular health care laws, you would be sued out of your practice because those mRNA shots were lethal, worthless, and a tool of fascist empowerment.
You know that, and the more that I confront you on the abuses and crimes of your industry, the more you lash out at me with hatred and stupidity. All you are doing is showing that you know I'm right.
And you act like you are a "doctor" as you tell me to kill myself because I call out your abuses. You are a sick person. Get help.
But how many vaccinated people have not gotten Covid, and how does that compare to how many non-vaccinated people have not gotten it? I'm not being argumentative; I want to know, and I can't seem to find any reliable data. (For the record, I contracted Covid in October 2020, before any vaccine was widely available. I'm now two-dose vaxxed and boosted, and I haven't come down with it again. How much of that is the vaccine, and how much is natural immunity, and how much is dumb luck? I don't know.)
If you got Covid then the science says you should have Acquired Immunity which everyone else in the world but me misleadingly calls Natural Immunity. The only people who have Natural Immunity are children
As for the data, governments have not collected it. You might wonder why.
It's easy to call it natural immunity because we come by it naturally, ie via nature and not a lab-created shot in the arm. Not everyone is an immunologist, but we all pretty much know what someone means when they say 'natural immunity'
RT - your comparison of the 'vaccine argument' with the US covid stats is a non-sequiter. Most of the covid deaths are after the vax, and many of the deaths are among the vaxxed.
"The US with it’s number 1 status as he most infected as well as having the most fatalities during the pandemic is testament to the fact that personal autonomy and hubris spread the virus"
No, it's a testament to the fact that every part of the world used different standards and techniques for monitoring and tracking cases. The USA was the most aggressive at collecting that data, and thus has the highest numbers.
I've seen no evidence showing the vaccine saved "millions." I have seen plenty of evidence that the lockdowns destroyed hundreds of millions of lives.
Exactly what did we expect when governments locked down their healthy populations. Nothing was scientific it was a matter of control. I think we have all gone over the edge and I’m wondering if we can come back from all this
Wow, hatred and an invitation to kill myself without a bit of substantive information to back it up.
You should be banned from this platform. This is not a place where it's ok to tell people to kill themselves because you feel threatened at being called out.
Ah yes, the usual "do the research" response, coupled with snark and condescension. You must think that gives you more credibility than citing whatever sources you use to form the basis of your opinions. If one makes a claim, it's typically the responsibility of that person to defend it with data/sources not those who challenge it.
Artie…ever since the research grounding my senior thesis was outed in Nature some years back as scientific fraud (the world class pros’, not mine haha)…many thinking persons give much less cred to the scientific community. *Especially* after 2020. *And* especially when they make pronouncements that go beyond their boundaries. And especially when the money trail and the political strings are so grotesquely, brazenly in the open now. C’mon, do you just enjoy baiting people but actually agree with nearly everything?
LOL no, the results were invisible but everyone lauded them anyway!! Lol
(They didn’t dismiss my thesis, lol, my research was good; I read the Nature article 5 years after my graduation about the researchers who made the foundation of it all up!! I almost fell over!)
R T, You infer a great deal based on very limited content, yet you call me lazy?
The only real substantive comment I made was to ask if you believe in natural immunity.
Your response has been snarky and insulting, I am curious as to why someone who holds themselves out as a scholarly person would conduct themselves in such a way?
If you've truly done what you say, and you imply it's posted somewhere, why not share it? Or at least not bother responding. It's puzzling, you take the time to respond with insults but don't support your argument...do you not see the contradiction?
And not that you care, I am vaccinated and wear masks when required without fuss. Don't assume so much.
Drop the pretense R T, you're clearly a keyboard warrior who trolls forums and attacks people who you assume have views contrary to yours. Then when asked to support your claims you cherry pick statistics and assume an air of superiority. Your Florida argument for example, the Washington Post, raving MAGA rag that it is, has a lengthy piece comparing Florida and California that shows how difficult it is to truly guage the outcomes, but also demonstrates that when controlled for relevant variables Florida had results on par or better than most states. And let's not forget the economic recovery which was much more rapid in places like Florida where restrictions were loosened sooner.
There's no easy answer and that's why this will be debated for years. I'd suggest you drop the arrogance and superiority and be willing to engage respectfully, you might change more minds and end up having your mind changed on some issues as well.
It's what this community should represent, thoughtful and respectful discourse. Not ad hominem attacks and trolling.
People on the far right, like you, can be nearly as hypocritical as the insane left. Comprof has a point. You don't want government involved in your decisions? Fine. Now the government allows people to off themselves by independently practicing practitioners - and you want the government to stop it? I'm strongly against liberal euthanasia laws in Canada - but your hypocrisy is something to behold.
GSAT - assuming or assigning people into buckets usually does not work out well. What is far right to you? Independent thought? Free speech? Following the constitution? Limited government? Am I to assume you are on the opposite side of these? I wouldn’t because that is a foolish thing to do now isn’t it. Being against government sponsored euthanasia doesn’t mean I am “far right” nor does it make me a hypocrite. But you know that don’t you GSAT.
Not sure that thinking easy government suicide is a sad thing equates to wanting the government to stop it. Maybe swinging to the extreme opposite of others' comments is your mind playing tricks on you
Oh, I’m against easy euthanasia. It’s pretty awful. But there is history to this thread that goes far back before this article with one particular poster. It’s why I’m calling out the hypocrisy.
Hardly funny or odd that people like the government to do it’s constitutional duties. And when it get’s outside of it’s lanes it is called out. How is that funny?
When the government get’s outside of it’s lanes. Not the tax payers. We have a right to protest, to petition the government. You know like the left does all the time. We have those rights don’t you agree?
So if I think I should be allowed to get tattoos, for example, because it’s a personal choice about my body, I must also be in favor of people killing themselves?
That’s like saying it’s hypocritical to not eat poop if you have ever had lunch before.
Not a question of being in "favor" or not. You just shouldn't really have an opinion either way.
"My body, my choice"
Right?
Your poop analogy is stupid. If someone wants to eat poop, their choice. Are they forcing you to eat poop? Are they making everyone miserable with their poop breath at work?
"My body, my choice"
Right?
Maybe that shouldn't have been used as an anti-vax "gotcha?"
"My body my choice" is just a stupid slogan. No one actually means it. Rather, some people, I think many here, think that some things are too sacred to be messed with - life itself, our bodies and sex, for example. Everything else is fair game, meaning: abortion and assisted suicide should be illegal, because life may not be taken; kidneys and other body parts may not be sold; sexual favors may not be sold; and yet, people should be free to get tattoos on their bodies, peirce various body parts, and take or reject vaccines. Again, not because we are free to do whatever with our bodies, but because some things are too profane to be allowed, and other things are not. It is called freedom within limits. Freedom without limits is ultimately not freedom at all - it is chaos. If you are looking to logic to get you everywhere (make all your decisions), you are worshipping a false god.
Wait a minute....sound like you're trying to cancel me? Sounds like you don't like "Free from Consequences" speech as much as you claim.
"Provoking with weak arguments"
Sorry, you feel provoked. Maybe you shouldn't have gone with the whole "My body, my choice" argument re: vaccines. THAT was weak. So, now...we can use it here.
Again, don't really care. Get/got the Herman Cain award - good. Didn't get it - good.
Why am a I here, Joe? To point out your hypocrisy.
You certainly read a lot into a very simple comment. You have no idea what my position is on any of the issues you reference, yet you call me a hypocrite. You say you are here to call out hypocrisy, well maybe you should recognize the santimony that you and others like you on the left exhibit and the effect it has on civil discourse. Respect and courtesy are lost on many people today, and it's made worse through the relative anonymity of the internet.
And I call BS on your claim to be here to point on hypocrisy, it's abundantly clear that while you may believe that, there is an element of trolling that you clearly enjoy.
You're not doing a very good job, if that's your goal. Every time someone challenges you with sound logic and facts, you retreat into snarky name calling, sarcastic rejoinders, and topic avoidance. The only reason anyone's engaging with you is that this comment software doesn't (yet) have an ignore feature.
I concur, however booster should be pluralized. As Dr. Tam says in her new ad “keep your vaccinations up to date”. She doesn’t say how many shots one should take , but clearly 3 is not enough. Dr. Tam is the genius who told us in the spring of 2020 that Covid could not be spread from human to human. She is the best choice to be leading the ad campaign to make everyone vulnerable.
I've seen that message when I deleted comments myself. I did so thinking they were in poor taste or made in haste. It's unlikely this was any kind of censorship.
Kevin's comments couldn't possibly have sunk below the level of Comprof's, JustMe or the comically insane Bloviating Ignoramus's. And yet they're left up and Kevin's deleted? And the difference is that Kevin's are both wise and funny, albeit often wrapped in vicious satire or sarcasm. While those mentioned are simply demented rants. Albeit comical in their dementia.
Ben, you win the internet today for your honest response. It's sad how refreshed I feel when I see someone who gives such a straight-forward, honest answer.
The slippery slope is the sole means of the advance of left-wing politics.
But does anyone give any credit to the Cat’lics, who’ve been warning all of society and opposing theses things on principle all along?? Since the times of the Roman Empire? and whose whole modus operandi is to help the downtrodden experience more happiness and dignity in life?

That’s like Iran saying that they have no gay men.
Iceland says that about having “eradicated” Down Syndrome. They just abort 95% of their Downs babies.
As Mother Teresa said (paraphrased), there is no poverty like Western poverty.
Maybe someone should call it something like "Death Panels."

Canada is viewed as mild-mannered because the US and UK protect them.

If you were against getting vaccinated, you should have no problem with this either.
Joan Cowie, suffering from Guilain-Barre syndrome… article doesn’t mention that this syndrome frequently accompanies vaccination
Guillan-Barre syndrome is a side effect listed in the vax info from the pharma companies
And I only know about this because I met someone paralyzed to the eyebrows from it after vaccination. (Literally.)
Comp - that comparison falls flat
Please don't feed the troll.
Nope. Perfect comparison. Not discussing end results/end states. Discussing process.
My body, my choice." Right?
So...
Over 18, does one have the right to chose to inject/not inject something into their body.
Yes or No?
If you don't have an answer, then you don't have an answer.
That's such an incredibly stunning statement of imbicility I'm surprised you have the capacity to form whole sentences.

The Suicide Industrial Complex
Well....one thing at a time.
Are you against the Government killing people or just certain types of people (i.e. criminals)?
As long as we have the 2nd amendment I say let criminals take their chances. Live by the sword, die by the sword
Certainly, there are some criminals who deserve death! I'm only uneasy with that because the Government can and has made mistakes.
Ok, well - that refreshing, most capital punishment supporters think the system is infallible.
So, you're actually NOT against the Government killing people.
Would you be against a government using tax dollars to subsidize, offer tax credits, etc. for PRIVATE clinics to do ending life procedures?
Interesting you would think either connect. But.....
Yeah, you would, wouldn't you?
Too bad all the anti-vax people decided to go with "My body, my choice." But....

Under normal laws, the acceptable rate of "death via side effects" is 0%. You know that. You knew that years ago.
You just showed me that you are not concerned at all by the statement, "death is a proven side effect of this treatment."
You are a liar, and your lies killed people. You are a living violation of the Hippocratic Oath.
"Easy. They didn't."
Yes, they did. Do you need me to reference the public, signed documents declaring that the medical community wanted us to get infected? Hundreds of "experts" signed it.
You can lie all you want. The truth will win in the end.
You profess to be a doctor, and you told me to kill myself because I said the mRNA vaccines aren't safe and aren't supported by science.
You are a sick and depraved person.
Get help.
This behavior is why I think your whole industry is demonic.
Alabama -
Check out the Steve Kirsch substack for data on covid
I got Covid in November 2020, never vaccinated, never reinfected.
The monkey in my avatar is named Junior, and I met him in Costa Rica while totally ignoring our pompous health care professionals.
Never vaxxed, never got COVID, spent the whole pandemic travelling. Let me tell you, empty airports are amazing.
AlabamaSlamma
If you got Covid then the science says you should have Acquired Immunity which everyone else in the world but me misleadingly calls Natural Immunity. The only people who have Natural Immunity are children
As for the data, governments have not collected it. You might wonder why.
It's easy to call it natural immunity because we come by it naturally, ie via nature and not a lab-created shot in the arm. Not everyone is an immunologist, but we all pretty much know what someone means when they say 'natural immunity'
Is there some reason I can’t edit the auto-errors in my comment.
Edit
Common Sense. Now that my comment has been corrected - after the 3rd attempt - please delete this comment.
RT - your comparison of the 'vaccine argument' with the US covid stats is a non-sequiter. Most of the covid deaths are after the vax, and many of the deaths are among the vaxxed.
'Millions more would have died' is pseudo-fact.
Well said!
RT let's see some peer-reviewed research demonstrating the efficacy of lockdown policies and the vaccines.
Everything I've seen thus far has said they were an unprecedented disaster.
Oh my God. Wow.
Invoking Trump in a conversation where he is totally irrelevant is a symptom of insanity.
You are mentally ill. Get help.
Thank you for revealing the Trump Derangement Syndrome. Now we know that you were lying from the outset, and in denial about your mental illness.
Aww Trump U. So original. Boy did you put me in my place, right cupcake?
RT
There is no evidence that these “vaccines” have saved even one life.
I think we have all gone over the edge and I’m wondering if we can come back from all this
My personal belief is that it will get much worse, but a better future awaits on the other side.
"Your natural immunity nonsense is bogus. Without the vaccines millions more would have died."
Come on now, you talk about pseudoscience and then say this. Are you claiming natural immunity isn't a thing?
As I vaguely understand it (my virology Ph.D is from social Media U), like vaccines, natural immunity wears off.
Wow, hatred and an invitation to kill myself without a bit of substantive information to back it up.
You should be banned from this platform. This is not a place where it's ok to tell people to kill themselves because you feel threatened at being called out.
I reported that comment. Not okay, especially in the context of this post.
Oh boohoo! Were you forced to play by your own rules? Too bad.
Yup there it is. The ad hominems. Way to out yourself R T
I don't see the connection, please explain
Please don't feed the troll.
It's clear.
"My body, my choice"
You don't want a fetus is your body. Ok.
You don't to have to take a vaccine. Ok.
You want to kill yourself. Ok.
Many have made the "my body, my choice" argument re: vaccine. You probably have as well.
The connection is clear.
Abortion involves another body. Vaccination only involves MY body.
In your opinion, it does. Some people think it's life the moment of conception, some think you have more time.
Which is probably why we don't put conception dates on tombstones.
Anyway, if it's "my body, my choice" re: vaccines. You should have ZERO problem with this story, as long as the people are over 18....so, which is it?
I'm also a Catholic so I have a huge problem with this story.
Comprof
What’s clear is that you are too simple minded to teach.
There are a millions things that I want to decide for myself. That doesn’t mean I support government sponsored suicide
GSAT -
Not sure that thinking easy government suicide is a sad thing equates to wanting the government to stop it. Maybe swinging to the extreme opposite of others' comments is your mind playing tricks on you
Oh, I’m against easy euthanasia. It’s pretty awful. But there is history to this thread that goes far back before this article with one particular poster. It’s why I’m calling out the hypocrisy.
Oh ok. I didn’t know you were on a mission 😊
Funny. People rant against govenment support for some things....but not for others. While claiming only one side wants to "control" people.
If you're pro-choice, should have no problem with this.
If you didn't want to take a vaccine during a pandemic, you should have no problem with this.
They pay taxes, too. Their body, their choice.
Hardly funny or odd that people like the government to do it’s constitutional duties. And when it get’s outside of it’s lanes it is called out. How is that funny?
Not outside their lane at all.
These people pay taxes, too. Their body, their choice.
When the government get’s outside of it’s lanes. Not the tax payers. We have a right to protest, to petition the government. You know like the left does all the time. We have those rights don’t you agree?
Oh....yes. The left protests ALL THE TIME. Actually, the right never does it.
Sigh....yes, Barron, of course you have that right. That's not the issue under discussion.
So, you would be OK if there were private, assisted suicide clinics that were funded through donations, private grants, sales, merchandising, etc.?
“People rant against government support for some things…..but not for others.”
—————————-
LOL yeah sometimes.
You are asserting that one must either support government doing 100% of things OR 0% of things in order to stay consistent.
Dumbest thing I’ve read this week. Delete your account.
"My body, my choice"
Shouldn't have a problem with it.
But this board is nothing, if not rife with hypocrites.
Mind your business.
No the vaccine argument was because that actually is your body whereas the baby is *not* your body.
I would also oppose a government program to feed people poop AKA school lunch.
Then why are you here, other than to provoke people with weak arguments?
Kevin Durant
I concur, however booster should be pluralized. As Dr. Tam says in her new ad “keep your vaccinations up to date”. She doesn’t say how many shots one should take , but clearly 3 is not enough. Dr. Tam is the genius who told us in the spring of 2020 that Covid could not be spread from human to human. She is the best choice to be leading the ad campaign to make everyone vulnerable.
Why was Kevin Durant’s excellent suggestion that Comprof take the booster deleted? Does this site think Kevin was telling Comprof to kill himself?
I realize this site is run by leftists, but please resist the leftist impulse to censor. It is inexcusable.
I've seen that message when I deleted comments myself. I did so thinking they were in poor taste or made in haste. It's unlikely this was any kind of censorship.
Deleting comments is per se censorship. Kevin didn’t threaten Comprof so there is no justification for deleting his comment.
He deleted his own comment asshole. But since someone had already replied that is there as a placeholder for the reply.
Are you processing?
I'm saying Kevin probably deleted his own comment.
I don't think Common Sense editors manually edit the comments section in real time in the early hours of the morning.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh.
Cry to Bari Weiss you stupid sniveling coward Nazi bitch.
Now shut the fuck up and don't embarrass yourself more than you already have.
We've missed the voice from Mommy's dark basement.
Leave yo' mama's rotten cooch out of this.
Please don't feed the troll.
Ben, you win the internet today for your honest response. It's sad how refreshed I feel when I see someone who gives such a straight-forward, honest answer.
Plus, the suicides get to donate their organs. Win win for everyone 🤑
