The reality is that most Americans support a 15-weeks-with-exceptions ban, and no one who isn't hardline no-abortions-ever thinks that a 6-week ban or heartbeat ban is reasonable. I wish Republicans had the guts and the good sense to tell the hardline anti-abortion people (who are going to vote for Republicans regardless), "Sorry, but we can't support this issue at risk of giving Democrats power over everything else."
