These are the folks that would have a community forum about a gang shootout where they try to out-woke each other, but also stand there with a phone videoing someone bleed out on the pavement instead of helping them. They’d then happily tell you how traumatized they are (I know, I’m ranting). It’s disgusting, and Suzy did a good job showcasing their incompetency.
This is also why people who live in rural areas laugh or cringe when folks living in the big cities tell us how ignorant we all are and how we are doing it all wrong. It’s like the court jester giving advice on how to run the kingdom. I’ve been to NYC, and I’m inclined to agree with Hank Williams Jr.
"Crime is a “construct” for most of the sheltered woke types until it happens to them. "
What I don't get is how you can look a woman in the face who was walking her dog in a park & saw her dog murdered. How much more of an innocent victim can you be?! Everyone, right & left alike, loves dogs!
How do you look at her & recite "Crime is a construct" & "we don't want that criminal going to jail"?? How do you think that's not a PROBLEM?
Even if you weren't personally the victim, how can you remain so naive & dense? I'm baffled!
In the upside down world of the Woke, criminals are misunderstood victims and the actual victims are privileged people suffering the just deserts of their privilege.
I know, you're right. :( Voting in the democratic primary this summer, I read through the candidates sites. When it came to the issues of "Crime" or "Criminal justice," most mentioned the need to reduce incarceration rates and/or racism in policing.
At least one person is murdered EVERY DAY in a city of only 600K and on the issue of "crime," their concern is for those arrested & prosecuted??!?
Exactly as Celia M wisely said-there are those out there who believe that they themselves somehow deserve any ills that befall them because of their “privilege.” Honestly, I do not know how to reach the ones who are that delusional or stupid. Unfortunately though, the woke extend and apply this attitude to the rest of us as well. Perhaps even more alarming, are the growing number of district attorneys and judges who grasp at the exact same delusion. Laws mean very little in a world of moral ambiguity, and even less to those who believe that our nation and its many “constructs” were only built upon systemic unfairness.
Ugh, yes, you're right. Talking to my husband, he said the woke are as crazy as QAnon. I think he's right.
If they believe our entire nation is built on an unfair platform, then yes I suppose it follows to reason that enforcing the laws of the nation is, itself, unfair.
And knowing the institutional capture of even law schools, I guess I see how many can believe this insanity. I just desperately wish more would wake up.
I agree the guy outta be locked up, but it shouldn't fall on the victims shoulders to make sure it happens. She shouldn't HAVE TO raise hell to see justice served.
And if he got locked up only to be let out again promptly?? Why should she bother? I sure as hell wouldn't expend my own energy fighting that system.

Just the latest flavor of commie.

The victim should raise hell with the police and DA until the guy is locked up.
That would require the DA to enforce the law, which the woke constituents don’t appreciate.

Agreed
That is unfair to court jesters. They actually served a purpose.
As with Stanczyk, portrayed here contemplating how to tell the partying court of the disastrous loss of Smolensk.

And they're still needed!
