Did anyone told the Harvard Crimson editors that joining BDS is akin to join the 1930's Nazi party??

That's what I can't understand either. Apparently these people are so ignorant that they don't realize that they are using the very tactics they purport to oppose. When conservative speakers like Douglas Murray, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, etc. need massive police protection at universities ( which are supposed to be places where differing views can be discussed rationally) it's a sign that the "antifascists" are behaving in a fascist manner. Why can't they see this?

They've been taught that the end justifies the means--they even have a saying "By any means necessary." That no action is wrong if you're doing it to "bad" people--"Punch a Nazi," and everyone who disagrees with you is a Nazi.

Their ideas have ceased to be political opinions, but instead have become absolutist ideologies: beliefs they are willing to commit atrocities for the sake of.

It's a kind of secular religion in which being born white is the ultimate Original Sin. In which heresies merit an Inquisition.

They wouldn't understand. They're so convince that Republicans are Nazis that they're willing and eager to believe that the Left's increasingly fascist behavior is an genuine attempt to save "democracy."

Unfortunately for our republic, the "democracy" they want is pure democracy, mob rule, with Democrats eternally in charge.
