I'm confused that there are so few comments here--I hope we're not taking you for granted. But perhaps it's that many like me were completely unsurprised by the outstandingosity of your Olson lecture. What does surprise me--well, not really--is that to my knowledge the New York Times has yet to publish an Editor's Note of apology to its readers for creating the conditions that resulted in your departure, even if you're far better off now. That place. The disinterested news reporters of my youth. I'm still addicted, though, and struggle to get comments you or Sam Harris might write, were you were less talented, past the moderators into a Stephens or Friedman comment section. I suppose I should be content that the paper's influence has faded and that their blinkered take on 10/7 can't do as much harm as they would like, still, what a lost opportunity for them to have regained their footing. But forgive that digression--great speech!
