How many of you have had Glenn Loury call your writing "brilliant"? How many have had him sign up for your site because he was "blown away" by it?

I'm not asking or expecting you to think the same -- I'm asking you to factor for that information in consideration of what I have to say.

When I challenged Glenn on Thomas Sowell's reprehensible record on the biggest and most costly lie in modern history, Glenn refused to even look at the evidence. He wouldn't consider anything outside the domain of what he wishes to see about Sowell.

People protecting their interests is what he's been fighting against for most of his life. And in blind belief in Thomas Sowell, Loury protected his interests.

I have an idea that could turn the tide -- and Sowell and Loury are key to it. But Loury refused to hear me out -- shutting down the debate so that he could continue to believe in what is demonstrably false.

Glenn replied, "Sowell is a great man because of his books. I stand by that. you want to refute his books — go ahead. I’m listening."

O.J. was a great football playball — so I guess I should just ignore the rest. So you’ll only listen as long as you can confine the conversation to what works for you. Got it!

So no, you’re not listening. Black Lives Matter — they’re not either. And if you won’t, why should they? Why should anyone?

You set your own rules — they set theirs. So you can hail your hero as you ignore his history of party-line bulls#$^ — and brazenly ignoring the debauchery in his own camp.

Flagrantly and repeatedly failing to “follow the facts” . . . on an issue of world-altering consequence, no less.

A “great man” would not have his egregious hypocrisy and gross negligence plastered all over my website.

A “great man” would not bask in baseless beliefs that cripple the country — and have the bottomless nerve to talk about responsibility to boot.

America is infected with the plague of wishful thinking — framing the “debate” in whatever way works in your favor. You’re not part of the solution — you’re part of the problem.

Hullo, M. Memmer. You're interesting guy. However, I'm a little pressed for time. Not gonna take Your word on it about M. Loury and/or Sowell. Don't even have time to find out what it's about. But I looked at two or three pages and see You have a pretty good eye, AFAIK.

But can You point me to ONE page that outlines Your solution that You want M. Loury and M. Sowell to take up and promote? That's my hope, anyWay. At any rate, that's what I gather You're interested in, from what little I read.

TYTY (thank You).

Jay

Sorry for the delay -- but I've been working on it on and off with various approaches. No rush on reading it -- take your time. And feel free to suggest anything that comes to mind for how it could be improved. Thanks again for your courtesy and taking an interest: https://onevoicebecametwo.life/2021/10/24/thomas-sowell-to-team-of-rivals/

Hello, JT -- I just now happened to see this in my Inbox. I'm glad I found it -- as I would hate to have your courtesy go unanswered. To honor your request, I'm going to write a summary page that answers your question -- and thank you for the opportunity. I'll get back to you soon. Thanks!
