Bari. You might want to try and enable an ability for users to block others. You have a couple of trolls that seem to delight in taking over the conversations. If I could block, say jt, I could cut the reading by half. Having trolls Post the same snark over and over and basically being a bully, doesn’t enhance my subscription or my reading pleasure. Thanks.

Lemme get this staight. You and I agree that Garland is using heavy-handed attacks. And then You do the SAME THING.

Ah.

You see, the reason You see so much-a me, in case You haven't noticed, is that noboby else here will stand up to Your "bull manure." You see anyone ELSE call it for what it is?

Meanwhile, take a quick count of the people espousing YOUR line. If You have ANY measure of FAIRNESS, then ALL-a You gotta go, too.

No, Unwoke in Idaho is just asking for the ability to filter his own view of the comments, not for Bari or Substack too censor anyone. Read what he asked for, "an ability for users to block others," something that should probably substitute for "moderation" in all comments sections and on all social media platforms, since it would allow everyone to ignore those the regard as trolls or bullies, thereby improving everyone's reading experience, without censoring anyone.

Well, M. DNY. Unless I'm SADLY mistaken, neither I nor anybody else FORCED him to read anything he doesn't want to. Nor to reply, either.

But, see, as long as You and Yours are gonna spout nonsense, and try to bully ME, like You're doing right HERE... Well, easy enough for You to block me by pointing Your eyes someplace ELSE.

OR, trying reading with an open mind, as has been discussed elsewhere.

Meanwhile, I would suggest Bari, if she's of a mind to block ANYONE, should look into blocking people who do NOT agree with her OWN opinions on these subjects. But she hasn't done that. And I find it fascinating that the Repub to Independent ratio here is so FAR in favor of the Repubs! On Bari Weiss's Substack, to boot.

Ah, but people *are* forced to scroll through threads. When one of us, rightly or wrongly, regards a fellow commenter as a troll and doesn't want to read their posts, and when those posts constitute a large portion of a thread, it would be convenient to be able to mute the undesired posts.

Gimme a break. You can scroll PAST the ones You don't wanna read. And as for being trolls, one whole GANG of people makes up one whole BIG TROLL.
