So the question asked is, What will change as the result of the court striking down AA?
Answer, Nothing. Universities have already figured out their work-arounds. They will continue to churn out mediocre graduates with bullsh— degrees who will get jobs in consulting firms and governments where they can create more policies to control us.

Yes many of the top schools have already dropped the SAT from admissions in preparation. If you can’t measure who has merit you can’t get in trouble for not running merit-based admissions.
Hmm. Our son is white, has a 4.1 GPA, works 2 part-time jobs (for the work experience in the field of his desired major), and wants to apply to a college that has dropped the SAT requirement. We thought he'd be a shoe-in, but now I'm worried.
Sadly you are right to worry, depending on what schools he is applying to. His skin color and gender will move him to the bottom of the pile in certain schools. And most of those schools won't be honest about it.
However, there is hope. If your son has good values, a strong work ethic, and is willing to learn (which is seems like he does), he will be fine. His path may not be the one he thought it would, but he will find a new path and forge it well.

Thank you for your encouraging words. My family are all fighters, so if he experiences this form of discrimination, we won't take it lying down.
Glad to hear it. We need more of that these days.
