This insight helps explain virtue-signalling (although the sacrifices are near nothing). People are trying to prove their moral worth to others and then put BLM signs or Believe Women or Trust Science on their lawns.

Are you sure? Because now in 2023, many "women" who engage in this behavior are in fact just someone who "identify as women". As we're speaking today, the Twitter Mob of "women" are out in force celebrating how the IRL mob of "women" threatened Kellie-Jay Keen yesterday in Auckland.
