WATCH: The U.S. Bombs Iran’s Nuclear Program
1HR 43M
Bari discusses the consequences of the historic U.S. strike with experts from Jerusalem to Washington.

On Saturday night, President Donald Trump declared that the U.S. entered the war against Iran.

He wrote on Truth Social: “We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

The U.S. airstrikes on Natanz, Esfahan, and Fordow are, by far, the most consequential foreign-policy decision made so far by President Trump. But even if they were as “successful” as Trump said, the dramatic escalation of the war launched by Israel more than a week ago left many questions:

Did Iran actually suffer a death blow to its nuclear ambitions? Will the regime finally fall after 46 years, or will it stagger on even more violently in its repression of ordinary Iranians? Are Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the United States in danger of desperate counterattacks, including terrorism? How far might the U.S. still need to go to finish the job? And what are the political ramifications for Trump?

I discussed all these questions and more with Israeli political expert Haviv Rettig Gur, Iran disarmament expert Mark Dubowitz, Michael Doran of the Hudson Institute, Israeli political correspondent Amit Segal, Free Press columnist Matthew Continetti, and Eli Lake, host of Breaking History, a Free Press podcast.

Nothing wrong with helping the innocent civilians in Iran or Gaza or the West Bank free themselves of their oppressive captors.

Good for Trump for making this fair and enabling a democratic movement to potentially take place.

We're lucky here because we have the 2nd Amendment which many of us would use to defend our freedoms and liberties against any oppressors...foreign or domestic.

The good people of Iran, Gaza and West Bank should have the same opportunity for a fresh start.

I want them to be together forever and always ... obviously kidding (I realize both are married) ... this is more a tribute to the quality of folks that the FP is attracting ... amazing work Bari and team!
