I believe only two out of the commenters referenced people who have Covid have better immunity than those vaccinated by a dose that doesn’t last. This group of people is overlooked in the quest to make everyone conform. And that’s really shameful on the part of the medical community. It’s what we expect from craven power hungry politicians but not from doctors.

If you include the people with natural immunity there are now about 40 million US adults lacking immunity.

During the initial wave, none of the 260 million US adults had immunity. So if you adjust for population we are now experiencing the equivalent of 15,000 deaths per day in the initial wave.

Something very fake is happening with out current daily death numbers. I have some ideas what it is. Whatever it is, it is fake.

Not necessarily. Initially, we had "non-essential" business closures, as well as capacity restrictions everywhere, mask requirements, and obsessive sanitization. And no delta variant.

An entire population being vulnerable doesn't mean much if very few people are exposed. Nowadays, we have far fewer restrictions and far more people acting on their COVID fatigue, even as delta is widespread. It makes all kinds of sense that the virus is burning through the not-yet-immune faster than ever before.

But it also makes sense that it's running out of new hosts.

No because behavior changes have always been dictated by the actual situation on the ground. If people were actually dropping dead at 6x the rate of New York during the freezer trucks and hospital ships period, there would be major behavior changes in the unvaccinated areas.

It does not “make all kinds of sense” for the virus to spike as vaccination levels go up. If that made any sense at all then at least one person would have predicted it. Zero people predicted it.

The newspaper article is just the appetizer. Read the medical paper that the newspaper references. The results are astounding...

There is no evidence that the exact physiological system the vaccine uses to generate immunity....actually works.

It generates antibodies to the spike protein. I don't think that is in dispute. It's the conflation of antibodies with immunity to the virus that poses the issue. See the most recent Pfizer results for children aged 5 to 11. They literally equate "effective" with "antibody response" and nothing else.

Yeah I had a feeling that’s what was happening. There’s really zero chance that the vaccine would *not* create antibodies. So for children, the main thing you need to monitor is how they react to the virus once they encounter it with synthetic immunity.

It will probably be fine but it’s possible that the vaccinated immune response will be irregular in an elevated number of child recipients when compared to the reaction without vaccination. No way to know that if you just check for antibodies and immediate side effects from the injection.

Mainly, kids are not at risk so this is an unnecessary medical procedure which can only have downside and no upside.

Pfizer and Moderna disbanded the control group after they got a positive indicator of immune response. The questions of whether that immune response was clinically effective at neutralizing the virus or preventing further transmission were left for another day.

So much of what I'm seeing is an attempt to eliminate the control groups. Whether it be the unvaccinated or the alternative public health approaches at the state level, it seems the one thing the powers that be fear most is examples that can disprove the effectiveness or safety of their actions.
