Dr. Lapado reflects Gov. DeSantis' thinking on the virus. Gov. DeSantis has truly been analyzing the science of the virus. He was the first to realize it was mainly affecting the elderly and he puts practices in place to protect them. He set up specific nursing facilities to the infected elderly could go there and not go back to, or stay in their facility thereby preventing the infection of other residents. He set up monoclonal antibody sites around the state so that people could get quick treatment before the virus progressed from mild to severe, and could stay home and not be hospitalized. He has done many, many things of this nature. He uses common sense and respect for each person's right to make their own decisions. Naturally, he would choose Florida's top medical person with a similar point of view. I thank God each day for Governor DeSantis. His win for the office was not a sure thing. There was vote fraud in at least 2 counties. 80,000 ballots were "discovered" in Broward County 4 days after the election. If we had gotten Andrew Gillum Florida would be over.
