Our current elites are a evil group of corrupt incompetents. We must fight, and fight hard, to get back to the principles that made this country great. We must vilify those that despise and disparage our beautiful America. One nation under God with liberty and justice.

Be careful of the words you use. Democrats impeached President Trump for using “fight” because that is violence or something.

That was a canard. They impeached him because they could - simple as that.

Good. You shouldn’t. No one should. Imagine living without liberty. What a miserable, pathetic existence that would be. The speech police and their quisling supporters can suck my balls.

Can we take the god part as a placeholder for a virtuous idea, rather than the all-powerful vengeful / merciful deity?

If people don't have faith in a higher power, then their moral compass will spin wildly with the whims of whatever human they have chosen to make their God. It's how evil dictators convince humans to destroy their parents, their countries, and their children's future. We must remain one nation under God, or we will fall for human imposters. God can mean anything you want it to, so long as it isn't a fallible human.

I think the most important concept is that our rights DO NOT come from the state but are natural God(whatever your concept of that is) given. We the people create and give VERY LIMITED powers to the state. The state is subservient to us.

Yes; thank you. And i not blind to the benefits of organized religion along with the pitfalls. Yes to your 'concept of whatever that is'. For me, I'd like to think it is innate & learned virtue(s), which are often taught in religion (as our host says). Yet also - that's what cultists / serial killers etc likewise say - 'my inner truth is how to live' - hence, taking on religion steps those cultists back / away. I see though, in the organized religious / political matrices - some real reactionary bullshitery - 'denying' Biden 'communion' / fundamentalist block voting / abortion as the only issue for evangelicals / etc etc. No virtue there, just power.
