Excellent article. Many appeals for help, and many political campaigns, are just ways of pulling in money. Tulsi and Bernie seem to fit the latter category. They excite their followers with real facts and real solutions, then pull out the rug and endorse the establishment at the last moment.

After one or two rug-pull experiences like this, most people give up on helping. Campaigners have figured out how to sort out the learners from the non-learners and keep the non-learners enthused.

The Sucker Filter is well known among campaigners and scammers, but not famous enough among the well-meaning givers.

Here's a brilliant explanation of how it works:

The way I recall it - Bernie and Tulsi got people interested and the Democratic LEADERSHIP pulled the rug out from beneath them (Twice for Bernie).

In the case of Bernie, he has been burned so much by the Democratic Party but continues to shill for it regardless. I think it should be sufficient evidence that he is just a corrupt tool. How much private property does a socialist have to accrue from simply being a marketer of socialism before they are officially just a swindler?

And how can he run for President as a Democrat when he’s never run for the senate as one? I don’t think the Democrat party owes Bernie any special treatment.

The Democratic Party owes fair, *democratic*, primaries to all the people who vote in them. The fact that the Democratic Party argued in court that they aren’t bound to run fair elections is absurd. The fact that there are still some people who are loyal to the Democratic Party and complain about their rival party attacking “democracy” is perversely stupid.

When the Democratic Party rigs their primaries, they are committing fraud against voters. And what is so disappointing is that not more voters are disgusted by it. The political tribalism is pathetic.

Exactly. And Tulsi is a Young Global Leader of the WEF who is pushing globalism so I have a hard time trusting anything she says.

Indeed. She seems very "constructed", not an authentic bone in her body "Look, everybody! Here's a Democrat who just doesn't cotton to all that woke bullshit that makes you people crazy!" Then, look at her platform: same old socialist shit--REALLY sells in Hawaii...
