In other words a US base that can project power in the region as well as protect the interests of those who sign on to a regional peace agreement.
It’s time for the players in the ME to put up or shut up. Funding can be procured from the wealthy regional states.

As for the residents of Gaza? After witnessing the body cam footage and seeing the mistreatment of the hostages, sympathies for their plight is gone. Their enthusiasm for death has no limits.
Jordan and Egypt are still adjacent to Israel. You don’t put fighting dogs next to each other. They can be relocated to a state (Yemen or Somalia) that has been supportive of their cause. Iran can be made to fund the move.
Time to get real and bring the hammer down.
Peace and prosperity with recognition that the state of Israel is not going away.
