Dear God, thank you. I hope I never agree with you and your writers on everything, but can trust you to be an honest broker for all sides.
It seems so little to ask, but it has been obliterated from the corporate media landscape. Please keep taking my money in this noble pursuit of intellectual honesty.

she is platforming a covid truther who tweeted at her like 2 hours before this was published and said that mask states and non-masks state might have a civil war.
Your tactic to paint Bari as unworthy because of something someone else has said or done is ineffective. ItтАЩs the smear by association tactic that is so popular on the left. That doesnтАЩt work here. People are more interested in discussing topics they are interested in. What you call platforming, giving someone a say in the conversation, is tolerance and a core value in any free society. Everyone is capable of weighing statements made by others. They are free to discard that which they donтАЩt agree with.
Glenn Greenwald was trashed as a "Sicknick Truther" only to be proven correct by today's news. Apparently, people who are wrong like to call others "truther". Eventually, the sarcasm will fade.
Greenwald is out on the town claiming victory, but his is the victory that comes to all counternarrative merchants who love to seize on the one time they say something that ends up being right, but ignore all the times their iconoclasm just ends up as stoner-pilled lunacy.
This is an occasion in which his reflexive and typically baseless skepticism of тАЬofficial narrativesтАЭ and media coverage can be cashed in for Twitter bragging rights. Hope he enjoys it!
COVID seems real enough. I don't read Twitter. Greenwald is also pretty convincing on Trump/Russia. Did you see the recent walkback of the Russian bounties story? I guess Greenwald was also a Russian bounties "truther". What has he been wrong about?
And lets move away from Glenn Greenwald to the author of the letter who is a rich investment banker and not an expert in Covid or CRT or Racism or pretty much anything else. He cites zero evidence for his claims. He also had really bad takes on Covid which undermine his credibility.
I don't read Twitter because I disagree with their censorship. If I wasn't interested in other viewpoints, I wouldn't be talking to you.
Greenwald is an excellent example of someone who is called a "truther" but proven right by events. Not being an expert some fields can be a plus, becuse their PhDs are prizes for the faithful.

Here is a twitter thread on Glenn Greenwald.

You don't want to see a different viewpoint?

So the fact that the author of the letter is a Covid Truther has no impact on his credibility in your view?
To me that does impact his credibility and he presented zero evidence for his claims.
I have no idea what a COVID truther is, but many truths about COVID are still unknown. Ask any scientist.

Why shouldn't he ask that? Medical regulators are constantly going back and forth about whether anyone should take the J&J and Astra-Zeneca vaccines.
Anyway, Gutmann's letter doesn't claim any special expertise. He writes about his experience with his daughter's school and general views of society.
