This entire article makes me want to cry. How many children have been permanently damaged by these vicious interventions in otherwise healthy bodies? I also despair of our medical associations who seem to be overcome with activists instead of researchers whose prime job function appears to be to line the pockets of pharmaceutical companies and sacrifice the health and the lives of those it believes will push the current political narrative. 😪

I feel that too. It is heartbreaking.

And in addition to those young people permanently harmed by the medical (and psych) community's complicity, there are those harmed from the loss of trust in the medical and psych professions. People who notice the idiocy spouted and practiced won't trust their doctors on other matters, such as vaccines, and there are some who fear taking their children for psychological help because they are afraid of what the therapists might do due to the trans capture of the profession.

Yes, this is inline with advice on the PITT substack as they affirm and make things worse: https://pitt.substack.com/p/love-and-loss-in-new-zealand-how/comments

Great advice. I would only add that you should take your family member to NO CLINIC, THERAPIST OR SCHOOL COUNSELOR WHATSOEVER, unless that entity explicitly states that it is gender critical. There are very few of these, and where they exist you'd have to find them through the grapevine. Depending on what country you live in, you MIGHT be able to find a referral here: https://segm.org/about_us"

Thanks for the link.

I imagine it’s also hard for a therapist, school counselor, etc to even make clear that they’re gender critical, lest they lose their job — making it even harder to find them.

I've thought about this. I wonder if they might advertise "Specialize in treating people with non orthodox views" or "People of all political opinions are welcome here" or "Deplorable-Friendly." That might be too dangerous to advertise. Or maybe "I look at the whole history of the child, and work with the family to find the best solution that fits the family's values."

Yeah - but I think it would get the attention of meddlesome moms & such who think they are righteous do-gooders and then those professions would get in trouble. The first thing you find as a parent plunged into this dystopia is that fellow parents who you trusted and thought were friends will talk to your kid behind your back wanting to "help"
