Is this the beginning of the end of sociopolitical-based medical experimentation on children who are pressured into conforming to unscientific notions at the behest of strangers to grants adults’ desires for validation?

We can only hope.

Edit: maybe in ten years my daughter will believe the US a safe place for my grandchildren. They’ll be teenagers then but still.

Maybe but how many innocent lives will be sacrificed on the altar of progressive dogma? These people are vicious lunatics and must be treated as such.

Far, far too many.

I wonder how much of that is Munchausen by proxy. Seems a lot of liberals want their children in this new “oppressed” cohort.

I’ll probably be long dead before that question is even asked.

I definitely believe that munchausen by proxy is a big part of this giant disaster unfolding. I have started to see this issue mentioned in a few articles I’ve read over the past few months. In particular, it seems that the parents of the child featured in “I am jazz “ most definitely seem to fit into this category.

Do you feel that this is the most likely cause? Fear Of Missing Out? This sort of makes sense because I remember liberal elite white girls on college campuses seeming to be desperate to associate themselves with Black oppression in some way. The Black girls despised them and I always understood why.

I think you've hit on something there. Everyone on the Left wants oppression points. If they have to sacrifice their children to get them, so be it.

I think you have a point. There are probably some parents who get status bonus points for being"open minded".

You're right. Dunno if true, but read some parents prefer a trans kid to a gay one. Hope it isn't.

Oh, I can picture it. Can you imagine the positive, sympathetic attention, for the parents, in certain social circles? I can. Our culture has made this seem like the ultimate in tolerance.

Perfect description! I have seen this exact situation play out multiple times. It’s so nauseating to watch.

Yeah, I can picture it that way too.
