A few observations: first, HR1 is not a "voting rights bill." It does the exact opposite, and its purpose is the acquisition and permanent ownership of power thru transfer of voting oversight (unconstitutionally) from the states to the federal government - thereby conferring complete control to a government entity that enjoys an 11% approval rating. Maybe Herr Pelosi can get some more "work" so's she can look like Ceaușescu instead of Michael Jackson and complete the transition.

Second, it is dizzying to be constantly trying to remember whether a "trans man" is a man who's been hormonally/surgically altered or is a woman who's had that treatment. Ditto "trans woman." I would submit that neither term is correct; what you have is, well, a postoperative man or woman - nothing more - and it is the height of lunacy to suggest that arrogant medicos can change anything that nature locked down hundreds of millions of years ago. And I would advise women, whose sports are being systematically destroyed by these opportunistic men, to stop worrying about offending someone's delicate sensibilities and DO SOMETHING. At one time, men would have done what men have always done - defend and protect women - and would have taken care of this problem, but after decades of being under feminist attack ourselves, sorry girls - you're on your own.

I'm amazed that the women on the Penn swim team don't walk away all as one, so this worm doesn't have anyone to compete against. I'd be screaming bloody murder, if not committing bloody murder.

(edited for spelling) One way that would garner national attention - and they'd never see it coming - would be for the girls to get up on the starting blocks, and when the gun is fired, just stand there. Let William, or Bill, or Lia, or Liam, or whatever his name is that day, swim totally alone. Then get down off the blocks, go back to the locker room and shower in peace and privacy, without the usual swinging you-know-what watching them and saluting its approval. Cameras are everywhere, and within ten minutes it would be all over the world.

I know college money and scholarships are on the line - I get that - but there are not going to BE any women's sports unless somebody starts behaving normally.

Ah, the good old days, when athletic competition required something called the level playing field. Remember that?

The question is: does trans man Iszac Henig dope (i.e., take testosterone)? As of June 2021, she didn't; she declared that she would do a social transition only so she could continue to compete on the women's team. If that's still true, she should be free to compete on the women's team because she is, and forever will be, female. But once testosterone becomes part of her biochemistry, out of the pool, lady: doping is illegal. And if she's doping now, she is cheating and should be expelled.

As far as trans woman Thomas, he got his lifelong athletic-performance enhancing doses of testosterone when he went through puberty. Anyway, he's male and has no business on a women's swim team.

The easiest solution to the hijacking of women's sports is to create a third transgender category. Let all the HRT-infused athletes of whatever gender duke it out among themselves and return the level playing field to women so their athletic performance will actually mean something.

But if we want to go all Brave New World, we could make the ingestion of anabolic steroids mandatory across the board, and any woman who doesn't want to grow a beard can get the hell out.

I think “trans woman” Issac is actually a male?

I can’t keep up with the hourly definition change.

Whatever the reality of both humans the absurdity of the entire trans philosophy is more obvious by the day.

Iszac Henig is a woman, i.e., a biological female, who now identifies as a man. When you read articles about her now, politically correct journalism will call Iszac "he," as well as use the term "trans man." A trans man is a trans-identified female, just as trans woman is a trans-identified male.

Note the quote in the below article:

"Henig has not yet begun taking hormones, but has undergone a mastectomy."

The libertarian in me says, "Live and let live," and "Don't be judgmental," but for the life of me I can't imagine who the surgeon is who would remove a woman's breasts - a YOUNG woman, nonetheless, with a long life ahead of her - for a non-medical reason. The state boards of medicine are persecuting doctors who prescribe well-understood and safe medications to treat the CCP Virus, yet let this sort of thing pass without comment. God. What's happened to us?

And Iszac is old enough to legally consent. Imagine the doctors in places like Oregon, for instance, who can legally give a 15 year old a mastectomy.

Just throwing this out there: what if anyone with any history of hormonal or surgical intervention may not compete for EITHER side? Just like doping. That might solve or at least mitigate several problems.

To answer this question intelligently would require a great deal of digging in the weeds, because there are so many potential permutations. But my inclination is to say probably not. Too complicated. The bottom line is the level playing field: what's fair? Surgical interventions absent hormonal interventions don't affect athletic performance. And genital surgery specifically, what trans-speak refers to as "bottom surgery," is optional and not the norm for most trans people. And again, it doesn't affect athletic performance. How about if a female athlete had a mastectomy to treat cancer?

The best answer is probably the simplest...the one that acknowledges the immutability of biological sex and bans testosterone, an anabolic steroid, as a form of doping. And a separate, multi-gender, free-for-all third category.

Correction: I should clarify that an orchiectomy (removal of the testicles) could affect athletic performance since it reduces the production of testosterone.

It is interesting that there's none of this confusion in men's sports.

"but after decades of being under feminist attack ourselves, sorry girls - you're on your own."

To this I say, stop complaining, man up, and do the right thing! Men were very happy to go along with the feminist agenda when it got them what they (thought) they wanted...whataboutism could go on all day and the problems will still be there.

Yes, there are many ways in which men have ended up suffering because of feminism, but trust me, so have women. Children, though, have suffered the most from the mess men and women made of things.

The reason we all subscribe to this newsletter is because we want to live in truth, speak the truth, support the truth. We all must do that now, whenever we can, in whatever way we can.

I would restate this as:

Children, though, have suffered the most from the mess ELITES HAVE MADE.

I guess this comes off as anti-intellectualism ... perhaps its time for some anti-intellectualism.

Blaming others is too easy. I'm almost 50, and my entire generation blew it. I'm a college educated man, not elite by any means, but I didn't push back. I laughed at PC culture in the 80' and 90's, and never challenged post-modern drivel in my classes. Why not?

No. I can't blame that on others.

Our cowardice has destroyed the culture our kids will inherit.

Our greed has destroyed the economy our kids will inherit.

These things are fixable, but they get harder to fix with each passing year, especially when the US Govt is still borrowing $1T annually and speaking truth is actively being suppressed.

It would be easy to say we were fooled, but more accurate accurately, we chose not to pay attention. A Dutch MP put it best about 15 years ago: "we were only taught to enjoy our freedom, never to defend it."

I argued with professors and fellow students throughout my university days (late 90s.) I was also older than most of the other students, had done a good bit of real life and hadn’t the least bit of fear of the profs.

My sons have offered to pay for a semester at the same university to see what happens when I go to class today.

I’m game so long as they also agree to the bail and attorneys fees when some nitwit lays a hand on me.

Not sure why so many supposed adults are cowed and/or suckered by professors and fellow students.

Could it be that Lia lost because he/she was dragging an appendage that her/his opponent, a putative male, was not? At what point is a trans man/woman officially transformed? I'm so confused. Or is one's declaration all that matters?

A bill that claims to promote voting rights and democracy but only has partial support from 1 party and none from the other likely promotes only that one party.

And anyone who's reaction to this is, "Republicans are trying to destroy the republic, so we have to push the bill through", is part of the problem, not the solution.
