Anyone who says the economy is great right now hasn’t been in a grocery store in 3 years. Conservatives don’t have to say people’s pay is buying less. People know it! Rich DC pundits telling us the economy is great when we can’t afford milk anymore will not convince us.

It's crazy that TFP published that comment about the "economy being close to awesome" without a heavy dose of sarcasm. I just got laid off with 24 of my coworkers. I know lots of people in the same boat. The economy is awesome? WTF are they talking about? At least politicians and political strategists used to put a little effort into their lies, now they just say whatever they want.
Walter Kirn just made a comment about this in his Friday podcast with Matt Taibbi, how the signs of how messed up this country is, are all around and evident to anyone looking. He told a story about how he tried to eat at a local mom and pop diner in Montana that was unfortunately shuttered after going bankrupt. He went back out to his truck and on one side of him was a family living in their car, eating out of cans, and on the other side a woman with a face mask and shield and her phone wrapped in tape. He said in the span of 10 minutes it was obvious things are far, far worse than they were 3 years ago. Carville, that imbecile KJP, and their ilk probably truly believe that things are good because things are good for them and that’s all that matters.
Come on, get real. Everything goes on an expense account, either to the lobbying firm or the Assistant Undersecretary to the Divisional Head. And there are more Black SUVs in DC than taxi cabs.

Walter knows what’s up. He spends time in parts of America the D.C. silver spooners would never set foot in unless a tornado flattened it.
The Biden administration is genuinely concerned about and invested in the welfare of the country.
That country being Ukraine.
Hey and “we’re winning in Ukraine!”
C’mon man! Can’t you see how this makes life in America so much better? Just look at...uh...um...
Oh yeah...did you hear Trump was indicted again. We’re saving America!
People in DC don’t pay for their own meals and transportation.
They don't go to any stores and aren't coffee shops lol.
