Thank you, Penny. I am like Franklin in his final speech to the Constitutional Convention: I have too often demonstrated my own fallibility to myself. It’s easy for me to mount my high horse, but I get thrown from it very, very quickly, usually by some memory involving my youthful cockiness and/or cluelessness. I thought being right would never get old, but then — like Franklin — I myself got old. Alas! I wish many blessings on you, all, and sundry.

Excellent post. Let me add that by perpetuating polarization and double standards we just continue to add fuel to the fire. Let’s fight this divisive narratives. They are hurtful to us!
