That would be more informative, give the establishment media more material, and help the American people get to know each candidate intimately. Everybody wins. Who knows, he got Elon Musk to smoke a joint. Maybe he can get Pence to do something crazy like drink caffeine after 1:00pm.
It was 3 hours with Joe Rogan that killed RFK Jr's candidacy. That interview plus the pump it gave to his ego to get him out of his nutfarm closet made it clear RFK Jr is cuckoo. A literally twitching pot of WTAF there. His standing in polls has slid since then.
All the more reason to do it, then! I’m not a 3-hr podcast person, but if it’s an effective tool to get a better, more profound understanding of the major candidates (good or bad!), I’m all ears (channeling Ross Perot)!
Rather than these glitzy staged food fights, let’s have Joe Rogan spend one hour with each candidate. Same questions.
No need. I've found Bari's interviews to be all I need.
Nice idea but Trump can’t complete a cognitive sentence and Biden forgets what’s asked.
I would love this idea so much.

Make it the full 3 hours and I'm with you. Each candidate goes the 3 hour distance with Joe.

Now THERE’S an idea, Maureen!
Excellent idea! Like nearly all our politics nowadays, these “debates” are mere entertainment--and lousy entertainment, at that.
