Legislation is probably the wrong way to it since it invariably leads to unintended consequences.

As much as I am opposed to class action lawsuits, they were invented for just this purpose. When enough people who were bullied into becoming trans start to realize the truth, the suits will start. Defendants? Start with doctors who have a very low bar for operating, medical groups—including the AMA and APA for standing foursquare behind early “transitioning,” Boston Childrens’ Hospital and its ilk, even those who attack people like Abigail Schrier and J. K. Rowling, lonely voices of reason in a sea of insanity.

Surely the storm of controversy that would ensue—not to mention the number of dollars en prise—would at least start to tap the brakes on the craziness.

I agree. Also, the ideology of "trans"/Radical Gender Theory needs to be combated.

I agree- legislative cures are often worse then the problem-I am all for word of mouth and PSAs... if parents can be aware, they can take the proper action to prevent a lot of this.
