I am trying to get my head around the fact that two of this Front Page's main stories featured Tucker Carlson in their titles. How? What? To keep this worm in the vanguard of TFP attention is... deplorable? Inane? Fucking stupid? Someone is making sure the gas is continually on in the staff rooms, and it is set to blow your whole project either sky high -- or poison the lot of you. Wake up!

Good news. The UAE is evacuating Americans.

Change? Yes, the world (of our children) may be free of ayatollahs ruling a Shi'a Iran.

Listen: It's a global sigh of relief you hear.

No matter what the Left claims, this not "a new war." It's the end of an old one.

Iran's Shi'a-deranged ayatollahs, and their agents/sympathizers, have been killing (mostly US and Israeli) humans for decades while also working on building nukes, in order to kill even more people. They loudly proclaimed that their primary targets are Israel and the US. The same targets tried to talk them out of their mass-murdering intentions, and even tried bribing them with large amounts of money.

Talks, and bribes, didn't work.

When even their own subjects, the Persian (=Iranian ?) people protested against their policies, the ayatollahs' henchmen cheerfully butchered tens of thousands.

What to do, what to do? went the world's leaders.

President Trump is stopping the madness.

The world is, or should be, grateful.

This morning I drove past a gas station with a posted price of $3.159 per gallon (regular), thinking, Oh I'll go tomorrow. Then I remembered what's happening with the price of oil, turned around, and filled up.

*Three hours later* I drove back past the same station, and the posted price was now $3.199 per gallon. Up four cents in three hours. It happens, I understand, and I'm not mad about the war. But I AM glad I still drive a Corolla.

(I wonder what the price will be tomorrow...and next week when I have to fill up again. 😬)

Trump humanely puts down Noem

I don't buy the "only one in four Americans back the Iran strikes" statistic. Is this one of those polls where they only bothered asking four people, and they all happened to be AWFLs and/or sitting in the CNN break room?

Jon's avatar

I'm a conservative Republican, and from Day 1 I've hated Noem as the pick for DHS, My skin crawls when I'd see those disgusting self promoting ads.

Anyway, anyone not supporting these actions against Iran either haven't paid attention for the last 50 years, or is so hopelessly partisan that they refuse to understand the actual benefits to future generations.

Noem is down but not out. She was reassigned to a new position in the administration. She supports Trump and will do almost anything to stay on. ;-)

The world just changed in other ways too. For generations the world has not seen the USA unleash its full capabilities along with the best and most reliable ally Israel. America has always had to stop short, pull back, measure its responses etc. These rules were imposed on us by 'human rights' groups, 'international law' groups and others with the ultimate goal of limiting America's capabilities. Now we see a glimpse of just what we can do when restraints are discarded and we can fight as we are capable of. Another change is maybe the best one that gets little notice---China and Russia have to rethink their view of America 'in decline'. This is America asserting itself and our enemies, even the narco terrorists is South America, are now seeing in real time.

As long as we don’t run out of munitions.

I think that at least half of Trump's motivation in doing this action in Iran is to tell Vlad and Xi to go fuck themselves. Taiwan will sleep safer now.

Robert Hill's avatar

Well yes but it drives home the fact that China and Russia are vulnerable from above meaning air above as well as even space above. The operation in VZ demonstrated that and the fact that Iran's use of defensive weapons from both of their allies to no avail further drives the point home. Oh, and everyone now knows it takes the right C&C to green light our military.

Any word from Vance regarding Trumps salvo against the podcaster

Larrd's avatar

No, why? Such a tired and stupid issue.

When is ANY Democrat going to distance from Hasan Piker?

Clarity Seeker's avatar

I want to win in 26 & 28. I see Carlson as hurting that effort. It's that simple at least to.me because he repels more than he attracts especially those in the middle. Just one guy's opinion

You might feel better about things if you stop buying into democrat talking points.

Carlson is not running. If he was, I wouldn’t vote for him, either.

The Republicans will win or lose according to their success or failure in the wars and economy, in my opinion.

Clarity Seeker's avatar

For what its worth my opinion on Carlson came before this became an issue . I could be wrong but it is not Republican voters I am speaking to but rather independents and even dems who voted for trump. Again just my opinion. His stance on Iran pretty much confirmed things I have thought and said for months now. And yes how Iran and the economy go are paramount.

Larrd's avatar

I have disliked Carlson since his bow tie days partly because I almost always dislike bow tie guys. Why make a statement with a bow tie? He’s a terrible distraction who likely views our criticism as helping his cause, which seems to be simply amplifying his persona.

Happy to see Noem essentially sent Hoem. Too bad mayorkas was left in place for his full term. And while are it, Blinky as well.

I will say again that I think this Iran thing, which I support, has a 60% chance of ending short and sweet with the removal of the Arab Democrat Terrorist Regime that Jimmy Carter (D) stuck us with 45 years ago.

That said, if this works out, and then I hear one single MFer say one single MFing thing about how Turkey is a problem now……..I will demand labor camps for the offending parties.

Clarity Seeker's avatar

I favor simply sending our AWFLs to Turkey . And with dowrys to sweeten the deal. That'll show them.

Polls mean nothing. The organization selecting the participants is more important. Maybe it is true that 3/4 of Americans do not support the war to defend the West against radical Islam. Once Iran is in the hands of non-fanatics, the wishy-washy American public will, by-and-large, say that they approved of the February 28 attacks from the very beginning.

Kevin Durant?'s avatar

The Bandwagon Fallacy is central to any PSYOP. That’s what polls are. People don’t want to fix Jimmy Carter’s atrocity from 45 years ago for the same reason they don’t want to fix the New Deal or the Great Society.
