This piece from Bari hits a home run for me. As a natural systems-thinking problem solver from my decades as a corporate manager of organizational change, I traced back to the root cause of what is messed up... and it absolutely our campuses. It is also largely female... I am sorry to write.

The same mental, emotional & psychological characteristics of young people that make them such a great fit for soldiering, are also a danger to society if their energy and enthusiasm is not directed to productive activities. Otherwise, they are nihilistic little bombs with their fuses ready to light.

For young males, their frontal lobe develops slower. They are not as organized and not as focused as are females. Males tend to require more physical activity to feed their needs. Young females on the other hand can sit still in their seat while they work on their plan to take over the world. However, neither has the wisdom of a life lived and both are prone to myopic passionate pursuits driven more by their "need to feel" group acceptance and validation than it being a serious conviction of mind. But repeat any "thinking" long enough, and it imprints and is very difficult to scrub out. That is the secret of cults.

It used to be a process where the little darlings would do their radical thing for 4 years and then get a job, get married, have kids, raise a family. These steps injected that missing life-lived wisdom that they lacked during their childish existence. The light bulb would come on for most of them. Their minds would be scrubbed of their childish views.

But we gutted so much of our economic opportunity... especially that for males. We effed up the system with idiotic social engineering policies that broke the delicate balance of a capitalist market system. That caused capital to benefit three guys at the top rather than the population of workers.

We are in trouble now. The kids are not only NOT launching into a life of meaningful work, they are developing anti-work attitudes. The kids are rejecting marriage, family and all the things that would put them on a productive path. Because they are developing any real wisdom of a life lived, and are dragging their radical campus ideas into mainstream society.

And most of this is driven by college educated females... the gender that by evolution has been gifted with the innate skills of organization, and a propensity to favor a collectivist approach and system.

What we are experiencing is societal death by collectivist matriarchy.

What we need to do to save western society is to pull it back to a form of libertarian paternalism (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libertarian_paternalism). How we do that is by first passing education reform laws that given parents more rights over the teachers unions and administrators. We stop providing federal money for any school, including student loan government guarantees, embedding any ideological programming into text and curriculum.

But the most important thing we need to do is to bring back industry, manufacturing jobs and invest in education reforms that develop more skills in the trades. We need to incentivize work. We also need to break up the largest corporations. We need to spur investment in small business. We need to implement policies that prevent real estate speculation so capital goes to other investments that benefit more than the real estate holder. We should enhance tax incentives for marriage and family.

And we need to absolutely oppose Universal Basic Income as this will just hyper-accelerate the nihilism of the collectivist matriarchy.

Lastly, there are easy questions to ask to identify people infected with the toxic mind virus of wokeism. Those people are damaged and need help, but until they get it, they should not be in any position of power and influence.

I know, right??? Let the wimmenfolk get themselves some edumacation, first thing ya know is they get uppity and turn our America into Hell's Half Acre . . .

Seriously? Educated mothers? Of all the culprits you could have chosen, "moms who went to college" are the ones killing our society? Moms destroyed our factory system? Moms sent our jobs overseas? Moms created the tax cuts that largely benefited billionaires and the Corporate Class? Moms imposed the trickle-down economics that crippled the middle class?

No. They didn't.

Not educated mothers. Read again what I wrote. Educated unmarried radicals... 3rd wave feminists. And certainly not just them, but they are the organizing brains behind the attempted cultural revolution backed by the woke doctrine.

And no, the policy changes that sent our working-class economic opportunity to other countries while we imported other county's poverty are not the responsibility of these feminists. They are policy mistakes made by primarily men in power but that wrecked the functional pathways to a good life for too many people... and that has opened the door for the collectivist radicals to recruit.

"What we are experiencing is societal death by collectivist matriarchy."

You didn't say "educated unmarried radicals," you said the matriarchy. Those are women who are head of a family; i.e., mothers. That's why I reacted as I did. If you didn't mean mothers, but women more largely, I will take you at your word.

I agree with most everything else you said, about kids needing direction, America needing its manufacturing base rebuilt, about using op-out instead of opt-in systems to change behavior while providing an escape mechanism, etc. Also glad we agree that those ills I listed are bad policy decisions made by politicians wholly owned and operated by the corporate class.

But I have a hard time blaming college-educated "unmarried female radicals" for all that. They are a minority in our society, and not being mothers, they have no way to channel their nonexistent children into anything, good or bad. They also are a tiny, tiny, tiny minority in our legislatures and courts, where the wrecking balls are swung.

The blame for what you correctly perceive as our social ills lies with all of us, not just women, but most of all, a political class terrified of losing its power, and a voting class unwilling to take politics and elections seriously.

I agree that the blame is with all of us. My point is that today the cultural revolution - the postmodernist Marxist/collectivist push - is primarily powered by college-educated single women. Collectivist systems are more matriarchal by design (matriarchal in the sense that the the collective (family) is more important than the individual). It has nothing to do with headed by mothers. It is headed by women... or designed such that it favors women in power. And favors female preference if females are in power.

This isn't debatable as the radicals continue to admit that they want to destroy the patriarchy. They are both neoracists and misandrists in that they target whites and white males as being inferior.

The interesting consideration for this drift toward a female-power dominated system is that there are scant examples throughout the history of humans where it has existed before.

Yes, radicals do want to destroy the patriarchy. (However they define it.) But men and women are in that group, not just women. Their power is vastly overrated, in my opinion: they scream thunderously on media and in certain professions, but they don't have the numbers to crush us. If American governments from local to federal would quit taking them seriously, they would go away.

Thanks for an enjoyable and enlightening conversation, Frank. Appreciated!

There are certainly men in that group... girly men! ;)

The problem is that the campuses have ejected these people into positions of power over decades in the media and other corporations. So they have an outsized influence for their "tiny" numbers. Tell people that get canceled, deplatformed, destroyed for speaking out against the woke doctrine that they should just stop taking them seriously. Tell people working in the campuses that these people are harmless and should just be ignored.

Have you read Woke Racism or Cynical Theories? It was the fact that we ignored them for so many years that we now have this problem. No, we need to take them very seriously now and stamp them out.

I read both Woke Racism and Cynical THeories, and I take the Woke Religion *very* seriously. They won't go away quietly, if the go away at *all.*

I think it will fade now that the public is aware of it. The key is the realization by women that other radical woke women are committed to female gender nihilism.

Be nice if they did. Well, and that the men realize the same thing. All this, as You know, came outta the nihilism of Critical Theory.
