Would love to see the overlap of those defending the firing and those defending BDS and other sick anti-Semitic groups that have gained public sympathy. Awful hypocrites, and this obviously diminishes real cases of antisemitism ("stop whining we already fired Gina C for you!") but this had nothing to do with me, or antisemitism...the cognitive dissonance is laughable. It's so disrespectful. And to use the Holocaust as a tool to make the world a more repressive place...this world is so broken
I think what you are getting at is that some of them really don't care about antisemitism, but are continuing to hold a false moral superiority, Which is Sad and SCARY because antisemitism is still a real threat as we saw with some of the actors at the Capitol Riot and people lurking throughout internet forums to include the infamous Twitter. I believe a Russian Govt did team up with antisemite pro Nazis during 2020 to stir up lots of antisemitic conspiracy theories via QAnon.
Funny thing is it never happened under Trump but is most definitely happening under Biden. Are they expressing the same fear now that is real rather than anticipated?
He was never hitler. All I want is for someone to acknowledge that they called Trump Hitler, while his actions didn't come close. Not by a long shot. Being afraid of something doesn't make it true. And it should at least give people the humility to reflect that they too aren't perfect in the arena of ridiculous holocaust comparisons, and be gracious and kind in their treatment of others who fall into the same category. Btw, I didn't grow up in either a liberal/progressive home nor a right wing home, and from my perspective i never understood the hitler comparison or the fear. it felt like a load of melodramatic crap. side point. people obviously disagree.

Then they should be scared to death of the new left.
