Fallout? What fallout? The whole point of the movie Zoolander was that WE the audience knew the whole time that Derrick Zoolander only actually had one look. The mainstream media of alphabet networks, WaPo, NYT, Atlantic, Time all the shells of previous legacy media outlets, the public schools, Hollywood, academia, all of Washington DC, the Democratic Party, the NGO's, nice to have Dick Cheney on board, George Bushes daughters, on and on it's all the same look. The look is their new little Democrat party religion with its ever changing non-sensical pronouncements and requirements.
Look at poor Eric Adams. You could not find a simple negative pronouncement on the guy and then bam......excommunicated. Elon Musk with his electric car was literally one of the most revered figures on the Left until bam......excommunicated. Tulsi Gabbard. RFK. All the anonymous people whose lives have been ruined.
While I like the Free Press better than most, they are fundamentally still pretending that these things that occur in our mass media are "bugs" and not features. If you want to understand things go to City Journal. Go to the Federalist. Read Victor David Hanson. Read Sasha Stone. Read the New York Post. Fundamentally, the Free Press is perpetuating this myth that there is this group of people on the left who are still thinking. I very much doubt that Nellie and Bari will do anything other than vote the Democratic line when their ballots show up because that is their schtick at this point. Play the "mock both sides" thing but then wink, wink you know where we REALLY stand. True satire ala Jonathan Swift or Voltaire puts the satirist at risk. No one writing for the Free Press is at much risk for anything. When it started I was hoping for boldness but this while silliness on both sides is again playing it safe.
Try the Babylon Bee if you want true, hard biting satire.
