Did the Barbenheimer and had a super time. I'm sick of Fox-think where everything is viewed through a political lense. Since Tucker was canned I've turned off the TV and really started enjoying life. Laughed all the way through Barbie, didn't over think it. Had a martini in between movies. Lovely day. Happu to be alive.

File that one in the memory bank: days with these qualities come around all too seldom.
"I kept thinking about the uneven quality of time--the way it was almost always so empty, and then with no warning came a few days that felt so dense and alive and real that it seemed indisputable that that was what life was, that its real nature had finally been revealed. But then time passed and unthinkably grew dead again, and it turned out that that fullness had been an aberration and might never come back."

I have also turned off the TV, stopped watching youtube videos (unless instructional) and cancelled my newspaper subscription.
Feeling altogether better for having absolutely no idea what is going on in the world!

That’s a great line! Love it. I need to read that book.
Hope it was a pink martini.🎀
What was it like to watch Oppenheimer on the same day as Barbie? Unsettling?
Both excellent movies. Some people *changed clothes* in between movies. Off with the pink on with the suits.
The bottom line in both movies is the same: at the end of the day, we all meet the same fate.
Which movie did you see first?
Barbie. That is the correct order
Why would they change clothes if the bottom line in both movies is that everybody dies?
Hmm. I didn't realize that Barbie met the same fate as the people at Hiroshima and Nagaski 🧐
