I was, at the time, pro-abortion, but I could not understand why it was placed as a centerpiece of the Feminist Movement. Women are the givers of life, and you're saying they have the right to be the takers of life. Strategically, it seems wrong. Even then, it made me queasy. It smelled of self-hatred.
