This is a comment to the whole, not just this article. I first learned about you through reading certain articles on the NYT, then seeing you a couple of times on Real Time with Bill Maher. I cannot thank you enough for your thoughtful, insightful, intelligent, and well-written articles. I live in the Bible Belt (north Texas) and liberalism is considered a mental disease by several communities around me, including the one I live in. The liberalism that is espoused through your writing, and the writing you share through Common Sense, is something I share where the extremists do not control your thoughts. It is refreshing, enlightening, and what I miss so much about journalism in general. It is a treat to read and I am so glad I subscribed because it has been one of my favorite reads each and every week. Thank you so much! From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
