But neither activist students nor bug lady can agree on a suitable replacement. Consequently, our legislators are in a bind because while the bug lady made the more persuasive argument, lawmakers fear hurting the students’ FEELINGS if they side with her.
To Abigail’s Shrier’s point, we’re drowning in a miasma of feelings. Yes, there are very real psychoses that must be treated by therapists committed to healing their patients, not lining the their pockets. But c’mon. We’re becoming a helpless laughing stock.
