Makes me miss the Lincoln Douglas Debates. Or Firing Line with William F. Buckley; or heck, just The Phil Donahue Show. A bit ironic that much of social media actually brings us “less” information about candidates, not more (with the exception of podcasts and long form Substack). Seems rather by design, too.

Remember, the Dark Ages were dark in purpose.

While all interesting and largely true, the analysis completely misses Harris' total lack of 'gravitas'. Word-salads, cackling/giggling, hiding....had to really turn off a lot of people. Even if you think he's The Devil and lying, Trump's Rogan hours showed someone who was willing to talk and interact, showing his position on many topics. A real person. Even if Harris' campaign got the message right, the Dems really picked the wrong candidate.

With the clarity of 20/20 hindsight the outcome was well telegraphed . I wonder where all these sage forecasters were a few days ago?

Maybe some if the women scolding the rest of us for voting based on our experiences and values should take the advice of Fatima Graves (National Womens Law Center) testimony at the Title IX congressional hearing and "learn to lose more gracefully."

I’d like further information about the claim that the DNC offered free abortions. The linked source article states “The mobile unit was funded in partnership with Action 2024, Chicago Abortion Fund, and The Wiener's Circle, and is not connected to the convention.” Is there another source that directly connects the Planned Parenthood mobile unit to the DNC?

If I may add, a sizable number of women are heads of households and as such are much more concerned about food on the table than abortion rights, when reliable reproductive controls are available already.

1. Mainstream media should be held liable for the absolute terror, depression, anxiety, anger, and hopelessness they have wrought on these women with their lies, hyperbole, their half-truths, distorted reality, and tripling down for dollars. It would be called emotional abuse in any other situation. I feel badly for them.

As for the abortion issue, it's really this simple. You have people like Applegate telling people her daughter is crying and in fear while living in California where abortion is readily available, refusing to understand that people are trying to protect the children they already have (for girls, danger in sports-for boys, because they are male) and chastising them for worrying about feeding those same kids when butter is $7, as Scarborough found out yesterday apparently. It's unbelievably out of touch and insensitive.

I am not alone in remembering the awesome tom-boy that helped me in my early stages of puberty, to discover that maybe girls didn’t really have cooties. The idea that any ‘Doctor’ would take a scalpel to her and justify it as “gender affirming health care” is abhorrent. And we’re the Nazis?!

The Dems made a huge mistake by underestimating women and assuming that the only thing that college-educated white women like me care about is abortion.

I care about my daughter not walking into a bathroom where there’s a man dressed as a woman or my daughter playing a sport and not being ousted by a biological male. I care about my white son not getting pushed aside because he’s not female or a minority. I care about the economy. I care about free speech. I care about national security. I care about Israel defeating Islamic terrorists.

I don’t care what Queen Latifah thinks. I don’t care what Jimmy Kimmel thinks. I don’t care what my Facebook “friends” think.

The View and MSNBC just continue to feed the histrionics. Columbia University canceling classes and Northwestern offering post-election cocoa, cookies, and crafts (I wish I were joking) for distraught college students doesn’t make me feel warm and fuzzy. It scares me. It makes me wonder what this generation is going to do when faced with real challenges.

Retreating to safe spaces to whine is not an option for real adults!

"Democrats Picked the Wrong Women’s Rights Issue"

Democrats showed us that they don't know what a woman even is.

Or, that they don't care about reality and about women.

The constant alienation of young men and everything masculine is causing a very deep issue in our culture. Especially in the medical fields. Women are biologically more feelings based and like good outcomes. Try and find a specialist in a bad outcome field….. Men are being excluded in medical school, they tend to like the gritty stiff more than women do…..but they aren’t getting in to be gritty.

Men have been told for so long they aren’t welcome, they just aren’t even trying….they can take a hint. Men want to be appreciated and celebrated just like women do…..instead in TV, in the news, politics they are constantly being told they are evil.

And women……they are saying they would rather be eaten by a bear…..

Maybe someone already said this? The amount of "extra" voting in 2020 is obviously clear. So maybe making these arguments, based on untrue facts, is something that needs looking at. You compare the 2020 "facts" like they are truth so it makes it seem so hard to believe. Remove an extra 15 million votes, normalize the data, and maybe you will see the truth. The people of the USA were hemorrhaging and they applied a tourniquet then gave it the paddles to shock it back to life

interesting to read that even The Free Press contributors are falling over each other to try to figure out which campaign strategy failed or which podcast would have been a game changer. Democrats' (half the country) willingness to pretend she was qualified to oversee an economy and serve as Commander in Chief of our military and indeed the Free World, really does threaten our democracy. And I'm pretty sure we won't be able to keep it much longer as Benjamin Franklin forewarned. It also reveals that The Free Press talks a good game about free speech and exposing the fallacies of the left, but it's pretty clear they're rattled about the election results. Keep searching for an omission in Harris' campaign. She was a bad candidate with bad ideas. Thank God we squeaked by this time.

I realize that a huge portion of the Harris support is/was some level of TDS, but has there ever been a candidate so unwilling (unable?) to express herself or define herself to even the softest of the press? Not to disparage any country where maybe she could serve as head of state, but a country with actual power? The world dodged a bullet.

I quit trying to figure out women years ago and if you believe you can I've got a house on a cloud for sale.

Thank God I grew up in the early 50s before the internet and when common sence was prevalent. We didn't have or need directions to put our shoes on or use a car jack.

I have no patience with these whiney crybabies who have a victim mentality. The majority of us, men and women want to be able to live comfortably and raise their families.

If your #1 thing to do is kill a baby because you didn't use birth control you're sick. If you're molested or have a health reason that's different.

I think they give away birth control and other options.

I’m pretty sure a good number of white women voted for Trump also.
