Dow just broke 50,000 for first time ever. How will the left frame this? Capitalism bad? Orange man bad? What actually is their platform?

President Trump should have responded with, there are 77,303,569 people I would want to be with on Greenland before President Clinton.

"...Hillary Clinton took aim at Stuckey in a recent article in The Atlantic, saying she is part of a 'war on empathy.'"

Why does anyone care what Hillary thinks? While she actually did gain the respect of her Republican colleagues in the Senate, she was a miserable failure as Secretary of State, is a hateful, horrible person and her time is now long past.

For some reason the Hillary and cattle futures story came up today at lunch (turning $1,000 into $100,000 in just a few months while knowing absolutely nothing about cattle futures).

They claim to have left the White House dead broke, but in under 10 years they were worth over $20M if memory serves. Ya gotta wonder where it all came from...

Trump is Pantagruel to the life. And Rabelais used to be considered a comic, except by Big Church.

Can we take a moment to remember Christopher Buckley had so little respect for the press, he was psychotropically impaired for his first interview? His father, William F.’s, neocon opinions were integral to President Reagan’s agenda. What a circular story — Christopher is riding his father’s famous coattails to denigrate his father’s stellar ideas reinvigorated by Trump.

Is De Niro as an unfunny and unstable man really acting?

MG's avatar

I wouldn't pay to see anything Robert De Niro is in. He hates me.

"...that many of us would rather be a king for a day than a schmuck for a lifetime"

This reminded me of my friend's go-to would you rather: would you rather win a million dollars, or have your hands glued together forever?

Did you ever watch "Extras" with Ricky Gervais and Ashley Jensen? They played would you rather, it was hysterical.

"Not a great laugh, but Trump’s reaction was even less funny—he threatened to sue Noah. It set us to thinking about one of our most fragile national institutions: the joke."

Clearly America is falling apart when you can't joke about someone being a pedophile. SMH.

Robert Lee's avatar

Really? You think it’s funny when you call someone a Nazi or fascist when you can’t define the hateful accusations? Pedophile? Are you serious?

Roderick Bell's avatar

@Robert Lee "Are you serious?"

No, Robert, he's not serious.

dan brandt's avatar

Was it a joke? Who laughed?

dan brandt's avatar

The real reason comedy is fading is because they can't compete with the Dems for absurd and outrageous behavior. Which is very entertaining to watch and free. Not to mention available any time of the day and there are so many different forms.

Robert Lee's avatar

I miss Johnny Carson and Jay Leno. The Dems have tried to destroy any institution that doesn’t conform to their radical agenda which is why we have bigoted clowns like Kimmel and Colbert on TV.

Being old enough, I would add, Cronkite, Huntly Brinkley, and even more truly professional news anchors.

Yup, those days are long gone

We can laugh or we can cry.

In NYC, the best we can do now, for the next four years, is laugh when a democratic socialist walks into a bar…https://lizlasorte.substack.com/p/a-democratic-socialist-walks-into?r=76q58

“Finally, don’t miss Benjamin Ryan’s report on a groundbreaking legal case that could upend gender medicine. Benjamin was the only reporter to cover the whole trial.”

I love that it is genuinely considered groundbreaking when Democrats are kinda marginally but not really held accountable for their psychopathic agenda that they stole from Josef Mengele.

“So influential, in fact, that none other than Hillary Clinton took aim at Stuckey in a recent article in The Atlantic, saying she is part of a “war on empathy.””

————————————-

A War On Empathy similar to the War On Golden Retrievers that would take place if Democrats started rigging every dog in the country with explosives and sending them into shopping centers.

Amen Kevin. How many facets of TDS do we have to endure? A president in diapers who was led around using a proverbial nose ring by an unelected cabal was Trump’s predecessor — crickets from the press on Biden.

"Not a great laugh, but Trump’s reaction was even less funny—he threatened to sue Noah."

So basically the left implies to the world that Trump is a pedophile, and when he demands that they stop slandering him, they complain that he's ill-humored. You're saying he should just let it go? Reminds me of the bullies who say one nasty thing after another and when they get pushback they say what's wrong with you, can't you take a joke? What the hell, FP.

We just learned that the American Society of Plastic Surgeons held off on recommending against gender surgery on children until after the results of the Varian lawsuit - lawsuits are apparently the only thing that gets the left's attention at this point. That's the bed that you made, left, now go lie in it.

Can we mention that Epstein was a New York Jew to Nellie and Bari? Just sayin’ they’re always rewinding the “so-called” Trump/ Epstein connection. Take a little misplaced “heat” ladies.

“On a slightly lighter note, Will Rahn sat down with Timothy Cardinal Dolan, outgoing Archbishop of New York and long one of the Catholic Church’s most influential and outspoken cardinals.”

On a lighter note we have some unabashed heresy.

I rarely open my TFP emails these days, but ever the optimist, I pop in occasionally. Lame jabs at Trump, a lead article from a Never Trumper, another from a Manhattan Nepo Baby and a joke from oh-so-funny 'I took naked photos of my step daughter and then married her' creep Woody Allen. Just another day at The Free Press.
