It has, at times, given me a different perspective to an issue I hadn't really thought about. I have yet to read an article that was not well written, informative, and thought-provoking. I've been a subscriber since the very beginning, back when this was "Common Sense" and a subscription was $50 bucks. And, I certainly don't mind the increased cost--the work done here is such top notch ACTUAL journalism. I used to only trust the Wall Street Journal. But even they caved to outside pressures and failed in too many instances to just report the damn facts! Bari, I hope you never allow your personal prejudices, which we all have, bend the reporting. It is crucial in this time that we get truthful reporting on our crazy, dangerous, and wonderful world. God bless you all.
Cancelled my subscription to NYT after 30 years of reading in 2020 and wrote “you let Barry go” as my reason (when they asked).
Read common sense and resisted paying for years. The Black Friday deal tipped the scale and I caved. Plus, the output is greater now and the articles barred also grew.
I abandoned The Free Press about 8months ago. But after watching Bari's speech at the Federalist Society, I decided to come back.
I sincerely hope, however, that Bari Weiss and her ilk will STOP trying to reform the Democratic Party and START recognizing what an evil menace that organization truly is. I am not Republican. But to be a Democrat in the 21st century is mind-boggling.
