I know an administrator (finance VP) who sent his kids to a 25K/yr private school for free - it was a consortium of smaller (10K students/school) and all administrators from all the consortium schools got this perk - and he made well into 6 figures. Once again - rules for thee but not for the elite. (And to answer your question - it depends on the field. Some in humanities may make in the low 6 figures as a full prof or even high 5 figures depending on the location of the school. STEM profs make well into 6 figures and add to that with consulting if they are any good.

Do you what the tuition benefits are for family of professors and staff at colleges? When I worked in academia, myself and my family could enroll for $26/credit.

Now, what is the average salary of a college professor in the U.S.?
