Realize this story is a few days old, but is anything really new, or newsworthy, about the odious (and handsy) hypocrite Matt Schlapp, and his equally odious and phony wife "Mercy." Every year or so, this guy gets hammered somewhere and then grabs some unsuspecting stranger's crotch, and then afterwards we are subjected to handsy Matt and defiant Mercy blaming everyone, mostly the meanies in the left leaning press who want to "destroy him." Please, shut up. This is a non story. Until Matt finally flies out of the closet. BTW, nothing wrong with that Matt! And certainly will be an improvement over the laughable denials coming from you and your oh so understanding wife. Past time to take the blinders off, Mercy.
"Kyiv has not been invited to today’s peace talks between Russia and the United States aimed at ending the war in Ukraine."
A brief history: James Baker, U.S. Secretary of State under President George H. W. Bush, promised Russia that if they supported German Reunification, the US would pledge not to expand NATO "one more inch east", which included Ukraine.
That promise was short lived. The invasion of Ukraine was directly a result of that broken promise. IF we want to end the war in Ukraine, the US must promise, in writing and preferably via treaty, that NATO will not attempt again to add Ukraine, or any other country directly on Russia's border, to it's membership.
I have lived in Massachusetts for 20 years and love it. The MTA and many small city councils are led by far left ideologues that do not represent the teachers or MA people well. City Councillors, like Azeem and Saddiqui in the City of Cambridge, and many union representatives are unfortunately allowed to work in relative anonymity until it becomes untenable. MA citizens are just waking up to the radical nature of their actions and pushing back. Hope the momentum towards reason grows
There are back to back comments today that criticize TFP for always attacking Republicans and then attacking TFP for not criticizing Trump. Priceless.😂
The reference to the very much respected and endearing Tammy Wynette should have been changed to the not respected and despised Hillary Clinton. Nice report though. David Jisha, Beaumont Texas.
As far as I know probationary employees are exactly that probationary . They could be terminated because of the color of their hair or pretty well no reason.
"Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The antiSemites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past."
LOL. It seems that old NYT writers cannot stop but inventing genital-grabbing headlines to denigrate the Republican side of the political divide while ignoring that genital grabbing rights are a core platform of the Democrats.
Trump is trying to end a war not organize a bake sale. If you know anything about negotiating at all, you don't put two enemies in the same room at the beginning. Why? Because you would get absolutely nowhere. There is a reason you have to lay the groundwork separately which takes time. Also, the hysterical left and main stream media have not seemed to notice Trump has said publicly more than once that Ukraine will be involved in the negotiations. The Democrats are working themselves into a froathy irrational frenzy instead of figuring out why they took such a thumping in November. As a former democrat, I'm just shaking my head.
Wow! If you’d allowed a reporter to report anonymous claims against a “bisexual”? Man in Europe, you’d be arrested. And as smart as Musk is, we hope he does have numerous offspring. But, you digress, as we’re walking a fine line with domestic and foreign policy so we don’t fall into the Biden abyss. If we had our funds back from NGOs, perhaps FEMA could assist our own citizens after floods, hurricanes, fires.
A precedent was set by FDR when he favored Stalin over Churchill in talks to end WWII. England was close to bankrupt. Similarly, Zelensky’s godfather, Biden, retired and he has little influence over the outcome of an unnecessary war that killed a half million young men. When Crimea was stolen under Obama, he didn’t say, “As long as it takes” to retrieve it.
Can we get out of the weeds at least on Presidents’ Day? We have a president that is actually walking, thinking, and talking — a step up. He thinks out loud, to the delight of liberal press. Musk jumps up and down when he’s wound up — what a sight — and who cares? After all the “special counsels” we’ve endured for partisan politics, to cry unconstitutional is absurd.

Isn't what the US is doing in the Ukraine negotiations similar to the shuttle diplomacy used by Kissinger in the Vietnam era, and in modern mediation?
Thirteen children by four different mothers is only unusual in Elon's case. It isn't unusual in other demographics.

Nothing in TFP to honor Presidents’ Day today?
TGIF and Niall Ferguson are the only two things worth reading in this partisan rag. River Page is a smirking dunce.
Anyone have a copy of said letter to DOT employees being terminated? I'm curious.
