What I find a little amusing is that clearly Epstein/Michael Wolff had a real obsession with Trump, trying all manner of ways to "get Trump" and "shift the guilt"... that Democrats simply embraced (with as little success so far as as Epstein had until he simply gave up).

Why Trump’s Epstein Problem Won’t Go Away? (for a little while / until next "scandal")

Democrats' and Media desperation, clinging at straws and search for relevance to avoid being scrutinised themselves ... maybe?

I am inclined to believe that this is all a Brer Rabbit “Please don’t throw me in the briar patch” stratagem by DJT. The Epstein files will all be released, seemingly over his objections, and wham - multiple Dems will be implicated, and DJT will be revealed to be a confidential source to the govt investigations.

Given where these guys lived and did business. I’m betting the “Epstein Files”, if they exist, will involve a very large number of New York Democrats. This is largely because They are/were New Yorkers during that time and the simple fact that New York Republicans are a rare and endangered species.

Be careful of what you wish for.

Inexplicably, Will Rahn does not mention that everyone in the know about Epsteins predilections with paying young women for intimate massages has testified that they never saw Trump do anything inappropriate. Nor does Will mention that Trump banned Epstein from Mar-a-lago when he was given reason to suspect Epstein of romancing under-age girls. How did Sick Willy Rahn miss that testimony, I wonder ?

The American Catholic Bishops can use their massive wealth to feed and shelter the illegal immigrants immediately or stop complaining that the law is being followed in sending them back out after they broke into this Country.

Why isn't Melania Trump also implicated? There she is in that picture with Epstein and his procurer.

“Immigrants” are not being vilified. “Illegal immigrants” are being vilified. Apparently the bishops stand against law and order. Still sore about “Spotlight”?

It's time to rethink our entire currency system, because it costs us more to produce most of those coins and bills than they're worth. To that end, I would eliminate the dollar bill; replace it with a dollar coin; and round all payments and prices (including taxes) to the nearest dollar. That will save us trillions over the long haul because we will quit minting coins that cost more than they're worth; and quit shredding billions of dollar bills because paper wears out so fast.

Our new currency would become the dollar coin, then 5, 10, 20, 100, and 1000 dollar bills. (I replaced the 50 with the 1000.)

Tell you what, Shane, I with you on the dollar coin, $5, $10, $20 and $100. Tell you what, I'll go along with the $1000 if we also keep the $50. And we need to finally do what most every other country with currency does: Use different colors and/or sizes for each bill.

Fair deal! We can keep both the 50 and the 1k. Or skip the 1k since most people use no cash these days, just credit cards.

I use a lot more cash than I used to due to more and more merchants / restaurants / service providers charging the credit card fees. If they eat the fee, I use a mileage card. If not, I pay cash (or check/e-check for big ticket stuff like prop taxes). With all the inflation over the past 5 years, the $50 bill is the new $20 bill. $1 are are for paying in "exact" change

Good point on the credit card upcharge. I'm thinking about switching to more cash myself to avoid same. Already use e-checking for taxes and utilities. Looks like we need the 50 AND the 1k.

"Trump urged Israeli president Isaac Herzog to pardon prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his corruption trial, calling the case “political, unjustified prosecution.” Netanyahu was first indicted in 2019, facing charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust in three separate cases, but the cases have been repeatedly delayed since the war in Gaza began."

No pardon. Not at this stage. Let the cases run their courses in court--though geez, six years already, that's ridiculous--and only consider a pardon if he is found guilty. If I were an Israeli, I would want to read the conviction briefs and discussions before I decided whether Netanyahu should be pardoned or do his full prison sentence.

Just because Trump declares a prosecution "political, unjustified" doesn't make it so.

Words do matter. Someone who enters the country through legal channels is rightly referred to as an immigrant. All others have broken the law of the land and are rightly referred to as criminals.

The Epstein files may very well show no sexual misconduct on the part of Trump. I think this is likely. On the other hand, he has put a tremendous amount of effort into keeping the files from being released. This is especially puzzling because he had previously pledged to release the files.

Who is he trying to protect? What did Bondi find in the files that made her so conflicted about releasing them? Why did the DOJ send Todd Blanche (formerly Trump's personal attorney) to interview Ghislaine Maxwell, and subsequent to that interview, Maxwell is moved to a minimum security prison for white collar criminals, a prison with considerably more amenities than her previous prison?

I can imagine that the Democrats did not release the files because powerful Democrats or their donors were implicated. But Trump does not care about protecting Democrats. So what is going on?

The American public deserves to have answers. Only two people were convicted in the Epstein trials. One is dead, and the other is a sex trafficker who is receiving special treatment while incarcerated.

We are entitled to know just how much corruption by the rich and powerful is being hidden from us. And the victims are entitled to justice.
