Wait wait wait. That photo of Suzy and Dan, the screen shot behind them of Travis and Taylor - is that Travis's real hand over her shoulder? Richard Pryor had a line in his act about such a hand.

I was thinking this morning, Platner to Dem supporters is about like Trump Coin to his supporters. And just when I think I’m marked safe from more Taylor Swift wedding news, here we are.

Well, it is a great and haunting song . . . but it's just not true, "I shouted out who killed the Kennedys? / When after all, it was you and me." It was actually a Russian communist dupe and an anti-Semitic Palestinian. You can look it up.

Nobody I know gives a rat's ass about Taylor Swift and her wedding. But, mi esposa heard on TV that Swifties were raiding the trash from the event (there must have been tons of it) for souvenirs. It reminds me of the women of the Russian court who reportedly made religious icons of Rasputin's leftovers. What's the matter with these people?

That trash has been turned into “art pieces” and is now for sale. Swiftees now have their own icons. 🤦‍♂️

The Odyssey is a huge part of what we now call western civilization. Perhaps there was a reference to western civ but I missed it.

Western civilization is under attack from many sides and by many forces. Hey hey ho ho western civ has got to go. Remember that cute rhyme. It didn't start in Tehran or Beijing but at Stanford. STANFORD!

My hope is that this movie , regardless of how good it is causes our colleges and grade schools to refocus on classical education and all that western civ means and it helped MAKE THEIR WORLD what it is today.

Easy to throw stones without doing any analysis

Last night I saw a great symphony and a great pianist perform Piano Concerto Number One ( Tchaikovsky). My favorite classical piece for what that's worth. My thoughts centered again on the fact that classical music is another product of western civ. And the fact that those who so vehemently want to destroy western civ snd all ot means may some day lead to this magnificent composition rarely if ever being played again.

Or do those who so oppose western civ think they pick amf choose which poem or composition they can annoint while destroying the body ( as though they are surgeon removing what they define as tumors)?

One two three fo, western civ we need mo
