The reality is Charlie Kirk got shot in the neck by a transitional male who was egged on by the radical Left. The reality is the George Floyd riots were funded by bad actors like George Soros. The reality is there are many NGOs that most of us would never approve of — and it’s our federal money that’s used to support them. Somalia is not Puerto Rico, and Minnesota should be cut off and join Canada. I’m sure Canada would love more welfare recipients.

Mattel needs to make obese Barbie & Ken dolls, who can barely move their appendages, and stare ahead at a toy screen while uttering “dude” and “”awesome”.

It’s hard to endorse government control of things when you believe in less government. But when it comes to banks and credit cards, a financially illiterate consumer walks into a bank and opens a checking / savings account. They deposit $700 into checking and $300 in savings. Zero interest on checking and usually a monthly fee. They offer 0.4% interest on savings. It will take 180 years for the $300 to become $600. Then they offer you a free credit card with 23% interest rate. You charge $300 on the card and the bank doubles their money every 3 years. The average American has between $400-$1000 in savings and we have $1.3 Trillion in credit card debt. I don’t think an adjustment is out of the question.

Instead of more government intervention, perhaps we should ask why are so many people financially illiterate? Or perhaps just accept that no matter what we do, a certain percentage of the population will never be financially literate.

One could also argue it is common sense to know that a 23% credit card will cost you a lot of money. But you know what they say about common sense...

Bingo. Financial literacy is not taught in school and it should be. Not only does it hurt the individual, it impacts elections through the acceptance of socialism. Folks don’t understand where money comes from.

If math is racist, what does that make one who's financially literate?

Is woke back? Why? Why is he wasting his time? We all know it's still there, and as soon as the Democrats get in charge again, it's going to hit like a Blue Northerner. It's just sleeping until the MSM and the FP can let it back out.

That is a River Page article, which is why I won't read it. But you are right that it's never gone away. I have some very liberal friends and they are still deep in the throes of it.

What happened in Mississippi is just horrendous but why should we not expect it.

The MSM will probably support the arsonist and blame the Jews as is always the case.

Don’t jump to conclusions. I live 15 minutes from the Synagogue which has been here for many years. The public has rallied to the congregation with many offers of help and outpourings of sympathy. The young man arrested appears to have been influenced by on line provocateurs and was turned in by his father.

How nice that Mattel has an autistic Barbie. Tell me how many autistic people do they actually employ?

Woke never died in some circles. It depends on whether you associate with actual adults or insufferable perpetual-adolescents.

Reports are that the Iranian Mullahs have slaughtered upwards of 12,000 people and what does Trump do? (The tariff shtick is ridiculous. Who thinks that China is really upset by another 25% US tariff) He sends in Witkoff to negotiate. Yeah that will show the mullahs....send in a Qatari-hack to negotiate with a Qatari-ally.

Agreed with all of that. The US should be supporting the people of Iran's attempts to bring down the theocracy with more than just tariffs and there should be no negotiating with the mullahs. We shouldn't get embroiled in another foreign conflict, but we should do more to support the people of Iran.

Luxury beliefs cease to be luxurious ( and safe) when the true believer takes to the streets ( or car) and breaks the law. Mark Rufalo and his Hollywood pals still live in luxury of course and will exhort those easy to manipulate to play real life roles with potentially deadly consequences.

How do the Free Press Editors propose to stop the corruption if everything and anything the Trump Administration does is seen by these “ Editors” as a retaliatory act ?

Disa, yesterday’s Free Press article on Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell is a case in point.

Representative Anna Paulina Luna, a member of Congress from Florida, raised credible, specific, and well-documented allegations that Mr. Powell lied under oath when he testified before congress in connection with the Federal Reserve’s controversial building renovation project. She presented this information in a formal referral to the Department of Justice.

Representative Luna’s referral was serious, fact-specific, well documented, and grounded in existing law. While the allegations remain to be proven, the conduct alleged would constitute a serious federal crime and a direct affront to Congress’s constitutional oversight authority.

Even if Mr. Powell’s statements do not rise to the (properly high) standard required for a criminal conviction, statements that are incomplete, misleading, or evasive corrode our democracy. The principle that the Federal Reserve remain independent in its discretionary policymaking functions must not be confused with Mr. Powell’s accountability to Congress and the American people.

We would encourage CBS News and the Free Press to devote a small portion of their considerable resources -- and influence -- to investigating and reporting on the substance of these allegations and Mr. Powell’s conduct, rather than dismissing the matter through assumptions about motive. Accountability depends on evidence, not narrative framing.

And the UK has figured out a way to legally seize vessels in the so-called shadow fleet. It means Britain will soon be joining the US in stopping the tankers.
