...President Trump said he thought he’d have “the honor of taking Cuba.”

TDS is very real and I get that he delights in triggering those who suffer from it, but I wish he would save it for mocking the more ridiculous domestic issues rather than foreign policy. And before you say it, I do suffer from TDS and I long for the days of Ronald Reagan sounding presidential. However, I do judge Trump by his actions first and the nonsense that dribbles out of his mouth second. If he wants to "take Cuba," he should send in Delta and simply keep his mouth shut.

Andrew Heaton and others routinely mock TSA and rightfully so. It's the only security agency that will give you an x-ray, a breast exam and a colonoscopy, all while scoring a 95% failure rate at finding explosives and weapons. No employees should be left dangling, but TSA is the most expensive failure that never should have existed. It should simply be abolished like so many other government agencies that needlessly invade our privacy.

I tried to listed to Coleman and Sam (sounds like a Dr. Seuss story) and I couldn't. It seems Sam has lost his luster.

So, 41 Democrats voted to support boys (not men) participation in girls sports. Ten years ago, they voted to let boys use girls restrooms and locker rooms so I reckon it’s a natural progression. Soon I guess “men” will have first dibs for employment over women and codify they should be paid more. I guess folks just pushed too hard on women’s rights.

ICE coming to airport near you? Will the lines be shorter 🤔. Mull on that one

Charles Leslie's avatar

Dear Free Press - please stop sending emails that promote a single story from your front page. I’m getting way too many emails from you and wasting time scrolling back and forth to see which articles I’ve already read. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Tim's avatar

Title IX amendment “narrowly missed”??? When you get 49% support while needing 60% support? That is not “narrow”.

Clarity Seeker's avatar

Can anyone else imagine Portland at some point doing its own crime prevention program by replacing its cops with antifa.

Cuba has never been anything but a dependent state.

I can't believe the Senate still failed on the "transgender athletes" act. Will these people never give up their twisted view of reality that has been hurting us so badly over the last few years? Is their nonsense now written in stone, and all we have left is to live with it? Please stop the lies. They're killing us.

Pamela's avatar

And where were the other 10 Senators? Did they abstain? Were they absent?

Wendy H's avatar

Hopefully they will continue this nonsense up to the mid-terms. A winning strategy for Republicans. . .

Noga Sklar's avatar

I see your point, but I'm not so confident. The madness that surrounds us doesn't seem to be abating.

While ballistic missiles from Iran can now reach the UK, apparently Starmer said that he doesn't think that the UK was the reason the Iranians attacked Diego Garcia. So there is nothing he needs to do. How did the UK go from "WW2 and the stiff upper lip" to that spineless useless pathetic weasel? It is quite the cautionary tale.

So the ChiCom funded antisemitic antidemocracy antiAmerican Islamo-fascist lovers of Code Pink and Hasan Piker went and stayed at a 5 star luxury hotel in Havana that has electricity, food and aircon, while the average Cuban has none of these things. And this is to show support for whom exactly?

So Switzerland won't sell us guns. Boohoo...Ok. I am pretty sure the US military can find alternatives. Maybe an American gun manufacturer? I believe there are still a few of those. Funny that the US military spent money on Swiss guns but we require Israel to buy only American products with their US military grant. Maybe we should require the same of our Pentagon. ...Just a thought....

"Robert Mueller’s Tarnished Legacy"

My mother taught me to never speak ill of the dead.

So.......................................................................................................................

P.S. wish my mom had taught the President as well.

Clarity Seeker's avatar

The best post today!

Wendy H's avatar

I saw Robert Mueller's present his investigation's findings to the Senate. Clearly he had cognitive impairment and did not know the details of what was in 'his' report. He never should have been put in charge with his failing mental capacity.

Lanny's avatar

100% in agreement

Just don't think now is the time to cast aspersions on the man.

Larrd's avatar

Trump is speaking to Americans and to history. If he goes easy on any of the perpetrators of the Russian dossier fraud etc it will appear to many that there was something valid about the investigation. There was not. I do not blame Trump for reminding us.

Lanny's avatar

Reasonable men can agree to disagree.

I respect your position.

“Meanwhile, European leaders are sounding the alarm after an Iranian missile aimed at a U.S.-UK base 2,500 miles away signaled that the regime has the capability to attack major European cities.” IMO this should have been the headline story. Olivia’s story is very good, informative and news worthy but the fact that Iran (IRGC) launched two intermediate range ballistic missiles (range 4500 km) should be the lead story. Europe and European leaders felt naively safe b/c Iran “said” they limited the range of their missiles…they lied. What else did Iran lie about? 60% enriched uranium, no ability yet for weapons grade, no missile with payload and range capabilities? Yes European leaders should be sounding the alarm as they are falling out of bed, while tripping with their pajamas down around their ankles.

Brian Katz's avatar

Thank you for the imagery of the UK Prime Minister with his pajamas down around his ankles. A great start to a cloudy and rainy Monday. But your point is well taken. Of course the leadership of Iran lied. That’s their worldview. They cannot be trusted, not even a little bit.

Tim's avatar

Notice how they announced sending ships right after that strike?

Pamela's avatar

A short mention of the result of that missile "aimed" at a base would have been good journalism, too. Maybe it's in the main article, which I have not yet read, but what appears here in the Front Page is incomplete.

Me, Myself, and I's avatar

1 failed in flight and the other was shot down by a US anti-missile vessel positioned for that purpose, i.e., the US believed Iran had the capability. Expert said the missiles were likely altered prior to the conflict as it would be too difficult to do under bombardment.

Pamela's avatar

Thank you for completing the report.

Lanny's avatar

100% correct.

Lived in Europe for 13 plus years.

I loved my time there.

I am sorry that the pace of European collapse is accelerating.

BUT also sorry to say their problems are largely of their own making.

Because it happened last night -- a Jewish charity in London had its ambulances torched last night. It provided coverage to the surrounding area. An IRGC affiliate has claimed credit for the attack. https://x.com/Osint613/status/2036008419463774306

This is more about the sleeper cell Ashab-al-Yamin: https://rairfoundation.com/shadows-europe-rise-ashab-al-yamins-anti-jewish/

Starmer's boast that the IRGC wasn't targeting Britain has proved hollow. The IRGC is activating its sleeper cells.

WHy? Because it is losing. The Arab Street has not come out (nor really the useful idiots in the West) -- this was always its ace after Khomeini did his party trick with the illegal Rushdie fatwa. Zineb Riboua did a good article about Iran losing the Arab Street https://www.zinebriboua.com/p/iran-lost-the-arab-street which if you combine it with the FP's article about the Rushdie shows the IRGC mistake.

It is why they are having to fall back on their sleeper cells.

There was a good article by British Muslim Nervana Mahmood about the true target audience for the mass open air prayer rituals -- the secular Muslims (75% of British Muslims do not attend a mosque regularly). https://x.com/Nervana_1

It is very much in the Islamist playbook. Think the Michaela school kerfuffle where Birabalsingh had to ban the ritual prayers due to lack of space and the fact that it was disrupting her school. The high court agreed with the ban. It is about virtue signalling and is from the Sunni rather than Shitte Islamist playbook.

The parliamentary commissioner dismissed the complaints against Nick Timothy as unfounded. It is worth watching this car crassh interview by Steve Reed, communities minister to see why Labour keeps getting this wrong: (hint he defends treating women as 2nd class citizens in a British public space!) https://x.com/GBNEWS/status/2035675486253162521

Tim's avatar

Hmmm….maybe the DHS “panic at the airports” has a secondary purpose…perhaps discouraging us from flying right now? And now ICE will be manning the security…

Michelle Styles's avatar

I always do a double take with ICE because it also stands for Islamic Centre of England (a IR funded organization).

It is going to be interesting to see what happens now that Trump has paused bombing Iranian power plants for five days. It does seem be driving the speculators out of the markets.

Israel is continuing with its raids. The US will continue to target other Iranian assets.

Lanny's avatar

Thank you!!!

Excellent coverage.

Wish our MSM did as well.

Kudos to Bari Weiss and colleagues at CBS News. I watched 60 Minutes last night. It was good, interesting, and unbiased. Bravo.

Julia Carey's avatar

With the exception of Andre Mitchell. Some bias and hate runs deep.

Lanny's avatar

Thanks for the heads-up.

I used to live for Sunday's 60 Minutes.

Excellent show in the beginning.

I stopped watching when it became a nonstop lecture and ALWAYS in one direction.

I'll give it another chance.

Lanny's avatar

"European leaders are sounding the alarm..."

Too Little!

Too Late!

Is that imminent enough for you Europe?

Clarity Seeker's avatar

I was mulling over the weekend when the nazi threat became imminent. 1933? 1936? 1938? Sept 1 1939 when only Poland was attacked? Now imagine if the brits had been liquidated at Dunkirk or if Churchill had never become PM? The question of action v inaction should never be ignored. And that means as you know trying to anticipate all the bad things that can happen from acting or refraining

Lanny's avatar

I should have added a second condition for a threat to be imminent and that is that Trump not be in office.

Bloviating on how terrible it would be if Iran got the bomb and then doing nothing about it is the purview of Dems and the Republican establishment.

Lanny's avatar

For some the threat is only imminent if the missiles are in the air headed their way.

Clarity Seeker's avatar

One would think this is a question that should be discussed before the shite hits the fan. The phrase is as meaningful as the phrase transitory inflation. Sounds so scholarly until asks what does imminent or transitory mean in the context at hand.

Lanny's avatar

"transitory inflation."

I still chuckle over the stupidity of those who bought that line.

Clarity Seeker's avatar

I know many. Especially those not affected who like to sound intelligent. And then there are the MSM dolts who are today's Goebbels minions

Lanny's avatar

"...today's Goebbels minions"

Excellent term.
